An art-form which is all but snuffed out. Our churches no longer have the interest or desire for this quality of music, or with young people holding a central role in the services. (yes girls can be just as effective singers)

Worth noting the word prevent here has almost the opposite meaning of the word as used today, i,e, it meant 'to enable' literally to 'pre vent' or put breath into.

I hear/see this for the first time. This is Mozart by perfection. There is an acoustical and optical balance between the Tolzer kids and the female soprano. The best performance for me till now.
This young boy has been blessed with an extraordinary gift. He sounds effortless, and this is no easy piece. Many mature singers make it sound somewhat heavy, but I do like Kathleen Battle. The trumpet is also amazing and the orchestra sounds great. This was sung at my wedding. This boy has a bright future - more great things to come!
Ein wunderbarer Gesang. Leider wurde ich vor ca. 40 Jahren aus dem Paderborner Domchor sehr früh verabschiedet;-) Sonst wäre ich sicher heute noch drin:-) Bruckner hat hier ein wundervolle Kompostion abgeliefert. Vielen Dank und die besten Grüße nach Paderborn .. aus ... Scharmede. LG
🇩🇪 Deutschland hat eine der besten Nationalhymnen der Welt. Es scheint mir, dass der Autor des Hymnentextes, August Heinrich Hoffmann, im Jahr 1841, im Zeitalter einer möglichen deutschen Vereinigung zu einem großen Land, versuchte, über die lange, reiche, einzigartige und unschätzbare Geschichte des 10. Jahrhunderts nachzudenken ( ca. 1000 n. Chr.), also seit der Gründung des Heiligen Römischen Reiches, wo (1) die starken Wurzeln und Traditionen zur Grundlage und Inspiration für die Menschen werden, ihr ganzes Leben lang edle Taten zu vollbringen, (2) die daraus resultierende Verantwortung, zu schützen und zu vereinen der deutschen Nationen und (3) die Hoffnung auf eine zukünftige wohlhabende, würdige und ehrenwerte Nation. Darüber hinaus wurde die Melodie von Joseph Haydn komponiert, dem Mentor und Lehrer sowohl von Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart als auch von Ludwig van Beethoven. Normalerweise begann er das Manuskript jeder Komposition mit „In nomine Domini“ (im Namen des Herrn) und endete mit „Laus Deo“ (Lob sei Gott). This has to be my favorite piece of music that they use for the royal family. I believe Diana and Kate walked down to this. The Queen was also coronated to this same piece
