I'm a Strategic Advisor for Copilot and Microsoft 365. Every week I publish videos that will help You to understand better how to mix the technology available in Microsoft 365 with the business need to deliver real value for digital transformation.
insightful video. How Copilot for Microsoft 365 searches information within Organization and How can we manipulate/optimize the search results of Copilot for Microsoft 365?
Really nice Video! and just in time where the Copilot is taking off.... I would like to address you a question or two regarding the spo reports. using the new data access governance feature we will be able to generate a report for the last 30 days. Without being sure i guess that this is nothing more than a unified log trigger having as filters keyword like "CompanyLinkCreated", "AnonymousLinkCreated" etc. well, this is not bad bad my point is this... we can already create this king of report using the unified log feature which is still able to search for the lasts 60 or so days per report. The real deal is to be able to scan all SPO and OD4B sites and generate a report for these having as filters anything from organization shares to externally shared files. The only solution for this would be to use graph API which is not the easiest tool when your tenant is under security restrictions as MFA, conditional access policies and all other countermeasures. Kind regard, George
True. Full text search in Microsoft 365 could be very useful solution. Copilot with Semantic Index could offer a little different approach. Both valid solutions.
Hi, thanks a bunch for the tips. Though, I did everything, my companys sharepoint does appear as a provider but it doesnt show any of the content, it gives us this message instead, We couldn't find any results for '' Check for spelling or try searching for another term
Check this documentation: learn.microsoft.com/en-us/viva/learning/configure-sharepoint-content-source?WT.mc_id=M365-MVP-5005336 Configuration of this integration changing in time and maybe your environment require additional steps.
I can locate the co-pilot feature in Word but not in OneNote. Additionally, when comparing Word's Co-pilot with ChatGPT 4.0, I find that ChatGPT 4.0 is significantly superior.
It is present only in this version: apps.microsoft.com/store/detail/XPFFZHVGQWWLHB?ocid=pdpshare . Yeah Copilot moving forward and tacking OpenAI new models.
Thank you so much for your video, very clear. I'd like submit you a question related to managing relation between a List major one and an another List minor one (in a format of another List linked). Could we set this kind of link (dependance) that could enable the user to select a data within a column of the major List, which would be constantly updated by minor List ? Thank you in advance for helping.
It is possible to build a relation between two lists using Lookup column. For simple solutions it will work. It is possible to link two separated Apps, but there are some limitations: 1. Updates linked list will be refreshed during edition. Value will not be automatically updated. 2. Will huge lists there could be performance issues. 3. With more complex approach Power Apps could be required.
@@szymonbochniak Would you say Google has less security parameters? Know of any clients/friends that had been affected over Google Workspace vs Microsoft 365?
I would say that security auditors recommends to organizations to move to Microsoft 365 because of wider number of security features. In subjective history of such migrations that was number 1 reason to migrate.
I want to send the link of my site to anyone outside organisation. I set up everything to ‘anyone’ both in the admin center (global setting) and on the selected active site. But when I tried to copy the link for sharing, it shows that the “anyone with link” is still greyed out. 😢 Is it possible to share link of the sharepoint “site” with anyone outside organisation without signing-in at all?
Thanks Szymon. A couple of things. 1) what about the bing ai for companies. Is that collecting data ? 2) sadly Microsoft doesn’t offer an education or NGO discount on copilot, which is rare, a real shame given the monetary and time constraints of both.
Hi, 1. Free public version of Bing Chat collects the data. You need to use Microsoft Copilot (Bing Chat Enterprise) to have Enterprise Data Protection included. 2. I don't expect that any secure AI tools in near future will be cheaper than 20$ per user per month.
@@szymonbochniak thanks for the reply. Just to clarify. Do businesses with simple licensing like o365 premium have the protection of bing premium, or is that only available with the expensive copilot sub? Thanks again, your videos are always great and I appreciate your time engaging.
Hi Szymon, I’m trying to follow your steps, however I’m stuck in 5:02 section. Somehow I don’t see Title in formula - insert column and when I manually enter it in the formula section it leads to an error page. Can you please share exact formula with me? I’m my case it stays [Title][Category]. I cannot see your exact formula unfortunately. Thank you in advance.
Unfortunately, I have to inform you that Microsoft implemented some changes to the Microsoft 365 Development Program. After a few years, Microsoft decided to limit the program only to owners of Visual Studio Premium or Enterprise subscriptions. Moreover, access to the program will be verified for development purposes. It means that if you are not an owner of a paid Visual Studio license you will not be able to join the program. More details here: devblogs.microsoft.com/microsoft365dev/stay-ahead-of-the-game-with-the-latest-updates-to-the-microsoft-365-developer-program/ What alternative do you have? You can use trial subscriptions to execute the M365 tenant for 3-4 months - Microsoft 365 Business Basic Trial: office365atwork.com/m365-bb - Microsoft 365 Business Standard Trial: office365atwork.com/m365-bs - Microsoft 365 Business Premium Trial: office365atwork.com/m365-bp - Office 365 E3 Trial: office365atwork.com/o365-e3 - Office 365 E5 Trial: office365atwork.com/o365-e5 Remember that you will need to share your credit card and you need to cancel the subscription to do not pay after 30 days for used subscriptions. You can use each Trial subscription only once. PS. Many thanks to Austin Ollar who share the information with me.
