Nice video. I grew up in Wishaw and used to spot at Carluke which gives you all the WCML traffic. In those days there were still a few steam locos in service but mostly it was Class 40s and 45s on the long distance stuff, Class 20s on freight (and the odd Class 17 which hadn't broken down) and first generation DMUs for local traffic. Happy memories!
It’s funny cause where ever you trainspot that’s where I go and that bridge at barassie is really good to train spot and I always get a lot of tones from the train
@@scottishtrainspotter Yes, the "vivivivivi" sound. Sounds like a traction drive working but I dunno, doesn't make much of a sense for a big drive to change feeding frequency in such a repeating pattern...
