Thanks! I thought it was the camshaft because I check the oil on my son’s car and it was 2 quarts low so I put Lucas engine lubricant in there and 2 quarts of oil in it still makes the noise so I’m gonna look at that next…
This the second video I've seen that points to that switch as being the possible problem. My a/c runs fine going down the road but when i am in traffic or idling my 05 Caravan runs hot because both fans not engaging. I will check that switch out, hopefully that will fix it. Thank you Joshua God Bless 🙏
God Bless you too this was the best video on this car ever! I have a charger with the same problem! Finally sealed the head gasket back up with the $50 bars head fix and now overheating on AC only! need to check thermostat and drain the air. Check the bottom hose! Thanks!!
After just replacing a sensor myself, I see now how right he is! There's still a good chance that the wiring harness is going to crumble anyway as mine did and I tried the delicate approach. I should have just broke the thing off as shown in the video!!! Pay attention!!! He's not breaking the harness with a screwdriver, he's breaking the sensor. Then it's much easier to unplug the broken half of the sensor from the harness. In my case, the harness was already shot, but if you follow the instructions you aer not destroying the harness, only the faulty sensor.
My friend just got a 14 escape. It runs fine till you put gas in it. Then it wont start for 15 min. Im going to replace the top valve. Hopefully, that fixes it. If not ill replace the rear.
This is my exactly problem, same model same year. I want to try this rear one first because it’s $30 at the parts store and it’s easy DIY. The front purge valve, on the other hand, is sold as an entire harness and requires a lot more time/money/labor. Did you have any luck?
Hey so I’m a little confused, to bleed it after install , so I need to turn the car off and bleed it, aslong as I warmed up the car? Does it need to be on And running when I bleed it? I had a mechanic install it but he didn’t bleed it after it ran, I mentioned people bleed it after it runs with heat and he said he already bled it and it doesn’t matter. He also didn’t drain the coolant when he changed the thermostat, he only drained the fluid after since he asked why I brought so much coolant. So idk how he changed it, I was behind my car So I didn’t see How he did it, I’m assuming he let it spill and rinsed it off (I saw him rinse with water). But do you think I need to bleed it, since he didn’t after he started the car, also , so I have to worry about getting water on any part of the engine when I rinse it? Or I can dump the water in that area with no concern? Thank you for your help
I found it better to make the cut on the heat sheild slightly lower, i didnt have to grind the stud it fit in. I then used a thread chaser on the threads. Super safe
Josh; Same problem as edmurray below, four weeeks ago It left me stranded parked under the sun with 97 degrees outside, came back later and it started, yesterday it happen again outside the garage but it would not start again having to pushing it back inside the garage, later I found your video, wished I would have founded it sooner instead of pushing it back inside last night. After viewing your video and after swapping the relay's last night I got it running, ordered a new one today to properly complete the repair. Now I can enjoy doing on the weekends what I like the most; Grab the wife, drop the top and hit the road! Thank you very much for sharing your knowledge, video and the money and grief you have saved me and all of us.👋👍 And Subscribed.
My friend I am from Iraq and I have a problem in my car Doug Charger. There is a very high temperature and the car is rancards water from the radiator, which is called Tarmah as you change and change the protection as well as radiator but unfortunately
This part is only 1 of 2 for the turbos, the front one is way more complex to replace. This one here on this vid will go bad and cause the front one to fail!
Dealers do the same shiit. They live to leave out screws on undercarriage shrouds, etc. You have to ask questions. Once had my homes steel lintel replaced. As the contractor was finishing, I realized he was using half bricks to fill in. GL
