I don’t like this….i love love love this. I know the movies so well I can identify the music to the movie and what part of a movie a particular piece is playing. The Star Trek movie series has perhaps some of the best music ever produced. Thank you so much. If you want to make me cry, play the piece from Wrath of Kahn when Spock dies and his photon torpedo tube is shot to the genesis planet. And of course the scene in “The Motion Picture” where Kirk, in a shuttle, is touring the exterior of the Enterprise in space dock and then docks with the Enterprise as the music makes a tremendous dramatic crescendo. WOW😢
Star Trek has always been an inspiration to me because it gives me hope for the future. It also taught me that peace between different views is not only possible but achievable. Ships are not always meant for war but a symbol of peace. On the other hand, this is really great work!!!!
Ah, to see the seat of Surak, where all emotions were burnt on the pyre of Logic. But they did not burn, they transformed, they evolved, into pure logic, alas, that energy in motion could not be hidden, so it disguised itself as aloofness, cool observation, stoicism, and blunt speech. Deep within the heart of every Vulcan, lies the primordial volcanic lusts and desires, struggles and warrior ethos that drove their ancestors to such horrible deeds, seething, learning, adapting. In order to be, one must not be... such a paradox, but that is the enigma that Vulcan persists to be.
Hey! I know this is an old video, but I just love these Mega Suites and am so sad that several are missing from RU-vid. Does anyone have the audio for the ones that have been taken down? I remember loving them years ago and would love to listen to them again!
If I had the chance to step from this life into a future with Starfleet I would not hesitate to leave everyone and everything behind. The chance to live a long and healthy life for maybe 150 years, cured of my diseases and problems almost instantly? The chance to explore the galaxy, and most importantly, to make a difference? YES!!!!
I've never understood why you don't make a series from the perspective of another race, e.g. Romulans or Klingons, give an insight into a culture and way of thinking, and deal with philosophical problems. It's a shame, it's a shame
Is there any way to access this amazing work on Apple Music or iTunes? I don't/won't pay for RU-vid Music, but I'd love to be able to listen to this in the car
I know most people prefer Enterprise D and E, but TMP Enterprise will always be the most beautiful in my eye, and TOS is incomparable in terms of her iconicness, and she is certainly a close second place.
I think a lot of people prefer TNG as a SHOW, but the Enterprise D is by far the ugliest major ship in the Trek franchise. Its proportions are terrible, and it doesn't even look like a real physical object. Some people don't have an eye for aesthetics and that's fine, but anyone who does will agree that the original Enterprise is s way more visually appealing than the D. There are even a couple of videos that use design principles to explain WHY it looks so good.
I had this awesome Mewtwo back on the first game cart I ever owned, Pokémon Blue. I had him for years. I used to beat The Elite Four with him over and over when I got home from school, just for something to do. I loved taking him through Pokémon Stadium and handing the computer's Mewtwo it's ass with him. His stats were insane, had HP over 400 and a special stat to match. Those were the days...
Brilliant music.. but what the HELL is with all the ads!!??! I stopped the music because of all the interruptions. The advertising is ridiculously out of control!
8:22 I always thought this was a sound the Enterprise was making (like a clock in the observation lounge). LOL Never knew it was actually part of the score..
I love Mewtwo so much. I cry for him. He is an intelligent being and don't believe he is supposed to be captured. All intelligent beings deserve to be free. I love how he chooses to live on his own, helping people and Pokémon and traveling the world.
Gene Roddenberry was a true visionary of what a future society could be if humanity would put aside their petty differences and unite for the betterment of humanity. Just imagine what we could achieve.
it's June 2024... I just happen 2 stumble upon ths Collection, Bro! The amazing efforts U put into ths is nothing less than amazing! Ppl think me strange loving Orchestra Soundtracks so much... I love almost all of the Star Trek OST & Series' Themes. Thank U so much 4 putting thz 2gther. Truly appreciate it. Most of the fun was guessing which Score belonged 2 which Movie/Series! LOL
Can't believe I only recently bumped into your work. I listen to soundtracks in the background while working in my home office and I've basically been looping this for weeks. All of my favorite choices, plus rekindling of tracks I hadn't before considered (ie Beyond's Night on the Yorktown). While I acknowledge you made this prior to the current generation of Trek soundtracks (Disco, Picard, SNW), I am perfectly fine with their absence as I frankly have not connected with them as much anyway. Thanks for this- as many have said, you are an artist.
I grew up with The Original Series. It was my true religion. I had the honor to know Gene Roddenberry. I consider Enterprise to be the only true Star Trek series to honor Gene's vision since The Motion Picture.
