Kayaked in Florida waters most of my life. Tipping over in a gator infested river is one thing but if you don’t interact a lot with the animals you don’t know what you’re talking about. I’ve been solo kayaking DOZENS of times in Turkey alligator infested swamps of 6-12 footers and nothing has ever happened. ALONE. Alligators are not crocoldiles and so annoying tk see hundreds of comments saying you are stupid or in danger. Give me a break

Hell yeah I went kayaking w the Gators this year in the spring. It was my first time ever seeing Florida, or Gators! (NY born and raised) me and my family were freaking out but all the locals didn't give a F! When in Rome do as the Romans do!
