I'm a stoked bass fishing blogger out of Utah. Sharing the unshareable of google maps of where I find fish, and baits that catch fish. Fishing the State of Utah and the surrounding areas filming bass fishing reports, and techniques to help others release the "Kraken" on those bass! My mission is to share real things, that work to help you know the best places, and the right bait that will help you spend your precious time catching fish, instead of dragging water.
Check out my blog for even more intricate details of how to get "Kraken" bass: www.krakenbass.com/
Bro all ur stuff makes sense , I found out bout the no weight the hard way , switched and bam , dark water n clear ur spot on bro , I switched from heavy line to lighter started landing bigger fish , I'm not horseing em in and ripping there mouth , unfortunately I wish I woulda seen this video long time ago , I figured it out hard way , and the jig I do t even have one in my box , everything you just said , makes sense bubba , I knew bout the weed guard thing , but the rest ur video taught me , I wanna learn how to jig and chatter ain't fish ...
I only use braid for my frog set up... I fish heavily pressured body's of water too and sometimes them seeing my line spooks them... 90% of the time I use 12lbs floro 15lbs for Texas rig and jig and 20lbs floor for punching and big glide baits
You rig your crawdads backwards? Normally the "claws and head" are where the hook goes cause crawdads swim backwards when defending themselves and allows more natural movement of the "claws" in the water Just my opinion and was curious
Agree with everything except line choice. I fish them near or in cover. I have break offs even with 18 lb braid, so that my minimum for line strength. And braid helps me cast far enough to get near the cover.
Great tips and thank you for sharing. Owner Twist Locks and the Gamakatsu thin diameter EWGs (red ones) are my two go-to hooks for most all soft plastics.
Just started fishing maybe you can answer this question why is a right-handed reel for a right-handed person you wouldn't use your weekend to hammer a nail in your dominant hand to hold the nail the gear system seems to be built for your weak hand but most right-handed fishermen have the reel handle in their right hand
got a small toolbag/lunchbag that fits in my main tackle bag, i put all my tackle in that small lunch bag, wacky rig rings/tool/neko wieghts/bullet weights/ bobber stops etc. i also use another bag for my soft baits. one bag is red one is blue.
Awesome ! I was at the point of getting me something for my hooks. I try to be as simple as possible because I fish the banks using a backpack for tackle. I'm gonna buy me that Nako ! Thanks for sharing !
I usally only bring maybe 3 hooks not 3 types just only 3 for soft plastics with me then a handful of lures that come pre hooked so I tend to loose less gear cause I have to cast smart and work my baits smarter cause I know if I get hung up it’ll be cutting my trip short and I hate leaving a trail behind me where I fish and making an man made impact on nature
okay what the hell was that first part again?? bro basically said “understand this and youll know the best depth” like dude atleast help me understand it idek wtf thermocline effect is how do you know what depth to go at?
As a professional unpro, thank God Unless you're carrying minimal hooks in that. It'll be so bulked out. You only be able to keep it closed. The plastic sleeves will become hard and brittle and break open. That item has surfaced several times over the past 30 years.
