Mate this was only like a 6kg rod 20lb braid 50lb leader on a 3000 nasci got pretty lucky with where I hooked them. You hook those trout in and around the rocks bottom bashing probably have no chance.

Far out! There’s more soots than water! Hard to get the lure past the little ones tho…probably try with a bigger lure next time…although these guys are so aggressive even the little ones will give it a crack I reckon 😂🤣
Yeh bigger lures defiantly the go mate I rounds they were just super spooky on hardbodies and stuff like that maybe some bigger plastics or even small swim baits. Hope you enjoyed the video mate thanks for the comment ❤️
