At 3:32 I'm pretty sure Rh5+ works but it'd be hard to calc in a blitz game Analysis w/o engine below (let me know if I missed anything, it took me a bit to figure out If Kg8 then Qxf8+ Kxf8 Rh8# If Kg6 Qxf8 Kxh5 Qxf7+ with mate threats circling (g6 Qh7+ Kg4 Qxg6+ Kf4 Bg3#, immediate Kg4 leads to the h3#) If Nd7 or any other move we transpose back into the main game with mate showing up on the board
Definitely missed a trick by not adding the Don music as the background to this clip. We're tired of the same fight music that you add to all your videos. (I am fine with the same opening for the next 100 videos tho)
i think really the only reason naroditsky said that marc doesn't play competitively on stream is because when marc is laying the pipe on his opponent, he really lays into them with the mock and really mocks them. furthermore, it just goes to show that perhaps he also hasn't watched marc stream enough. marc literally plays every single game competitively, he just has fun with it to put on a good show. marc goes into seriously deep thinks when he's about to bust his opponent
