I didn't model this duet on any one jazz recording, but after I started experimenting with this, I realized the last 30 seconds of Summertime with Ella Fitzgerald and Louis Armstrong has him singing in an 'echo' (maybe there is a term for this style?) duet. Perhaps I had heard it before and it unconsciously became the primary influence!
That really took guys Steve. To sing akong while in the shower is one thing , singing along with Angelina is another , but to post a video for the world to see , that man is the epitome of guts. Welk done Steve and thank you for all you do for Angelina.❤

Very Brave Steve! I think Angelina is safe for now, but keep on practicing. That's what Angelina has been doing for over 10 years and look at how she has improved over the years.

Wow, Steve, this took some guts to do something this challenging. Very brave of you for putting yourself out there like that. Anyone singing along with Angelina might feel inadequate on so many levels. Two big thumbs up for doing something really hard like this. Thanks Ronald. I of course did not do this to imply my beginning singing is even in the same universe as Angelina's ... it was more to challenge myself creatively and step (pretty far!) out of a comfort zone. And of course I adore Angelina and her music and now vocal jazz. The outdoor concert performance also felt like it had a bit more room for someone to join - I don't think I would even attempt to sing along with a studio recording. PS I expect to hear a shower sing-along recording from you one of these days. 🙂

But, let's see, if she promised to sing All of Me exactly the same way as in Nov 2022, with the same musical arrangement .... naahh, she never sings a song the same way twice! 🙂🙂.

Good for you, Steve. You should get together with Pontus for a duet. He was also inspired to start singing because of Angelina. I think he may have even taken singing lessons.
