Had more money, tell you what I'd do. I would go downtown and buy a Mercury or two. Because, I'm crazy bout a Mercury. My brother and I had one of these in the mid eighties, a 77. We called it the pimp mobile. He drove like a mustang. He loved to get it into a four wheel skid just to scare the shit out of me. Shortly after he blew it up he bought a brand new 1990 mustang convertible with a five speed. That was better at handling his driving acumen. Had it for thirty years. He eventually wore that thing out. Now he's a senior and he has a Honda civic. How the mighty fall. I have a Mercury, a 2004. My daughter drives it. She drives it like a mustang. I pay for the repairs. BUT, I have my eye on a 74 Mercury Meteor. A base model. It's a 2 door with a 351 Cleveland. It's a Canadian model. They made less than 3000. In the US it was comparable to the Monterey, which had various trim levels, but not as fancy as the Grand Marquis. Yours is a beauty. Treat her kind. We'll never see those again
I live in the SFV section of Los Angeles and back in the 70s and 80s there was a light green 71-74 El Dorado station wagon that I saw driving around.I found out later on that it was originally owned by Glen Campbells wife. There was also a white 69-75 white Cadillac pickup that I saw a few times.I know Evel Knievel had 1 built 4 himself,but I don't if this was the one.
There’s nothing gentlemanly about slapping a Mustang’s 5.0 badge on the side of a car with 150 HP, or sticking big chromed dual exhaust tips awkwardly out underneath from the bumper that not designed to show exhaust. That used to be a charismatic and tasteful car (which was never marketed as a sports car), but apparently it’s been owned by someone who probably drinks Budweiser.

That a cool turck they actually cut the bed and frame and make it into a small bed theses truck have a stock long bed but they just made it too a small bed lol
