Welcome! How's it goin' eh?
This is a channel for you to see some places i've been and maybe find something that stirs your imagination. The focus will be on shorter videos featuring adventures in places i've been, some human culture and occasional livestreams.
I've lived in a few different places around the world and my background is in Cultural Anthropology so that's the perspective from which I live my life and the perspective that I will try to show here. Not a channel for children, this is strictly for adults with adult viewpoints and subjects.
I've been webslinging around the world a few times and I hope to keep doing it, and to bring you adventures from all over that I truely hope you'll find interesting and entertaining. I'm a bit of a smart ass and I do like to wisecrack so put on your big boy pants/big girl tights, don't take life so seriously and you may have some FUN!
Join us here as well: facebook.com/profile.php?id=100074345074159

Thanks for watching and leaving a comment. That part of town isn't the prettiest but it sure is authentic and so different than where I live so it was interesting. The south end of town near the lagoon is beautiful and so is the Malecon here.

On power, there’s a lot of work going on. Thorium Reactors, Fusion Reactors, and Hydrogen Power are the ones I think will be our future. If there were Dyson spheres, they would radiate Infrared radiation, and the James Webb telescope would have seen them of they were here in the Milky Way. I could explain in depth, but there are plenty of videos on RU-vid about these things and the Kardashev Type 1/2/3 civilization ideas. Do you believe that there is life elsewhere from Earth? That is a super fascinating question.
@CanadianSpiderMan
@CanadianSpiderMan 3 дня назад
You are right I think that fusion, thorium and hydrogen reactors are the future and are within reach with our current technology I bet. Thanks for watching and leaving a comment. As far as I'm aware there's no real evidence that there is Earth life elsewhere but I definitely think we are not alone in the universe.

I was surprised with William Shakespielberg’s knowledge of these things!
@enterprisesoftwarearchitect
@enterprisesoftwarearchitect 10 дней назад
For Quantum Computers, they are being shown to be less and less useful. It’s been shown that a quantum computer cannot do anything that a normal computer can - but there are only a small handful of problems for which they are exponentially faster than normal computers. Those problems are ones in which the solution involves a Fourier Transform … those that have an answer that involves finding a particular frequency (Shor’s prime factorization algorithm, Grover’s search algorithm). But the solutions to other problems on a quantum computer have compelled/inspired mathematicians to find faster algorithms, and quantum computers are no longer holding much promise. This is why Scott Aaronson and other QC expertare more focused on AI now.
@enterprisesoftwarearchitect
@enterprisesoftwarearchitect 10 дней назад
I agree that the AI models have consumed as much knowledge as they can already. They can only ‘predict’ answers that have already been figured out. They are beginning to have AI models ise calculators and integrate other simple tools. “AGI” (Artificial General Intelligence) is different - that is generating new knowledge. Computers that can apply knowledge to make new knowledge are at the 8-year-old level, and only about very specific subject matter … discovering things that are elementary to little children. Human brains use very little power (50 watts) and are astronomically slower than computers, so there is a lot of efficiency to gain. Current AI is great at predicting human behavior based on processed previous examples, but still FAR from being able to do its own thinking. It can still only know what it is taught has happened, and what it is told to do. I own a server with a 16,384 cuda core RTX 4090 processor ($4000) and I am only beginning to experiment with these things … I am only starting on my first neural net and first chat bot now ( based on the Meta 3.1 8-billion parameter model put together by Mark Zuckerberg’s team).

This is fascinating so thanks for leaving a comment and watching the show. The next few years and decades are going to really push the limit of computing and I look forward to seeing what happens. Cheers!

My guess on the exact Christopher Lee film was incorrect. That headshot actually came from "Horror of Dracula" (1958) .. starring Lee, and ... Peter Cushing! (crowd goes wild). But you see, here on the Spidey Travel Show, we just make shit up to keep the show rolling, and then we'll bother to do the fact checking later 😆🥃. And here is your moment of zen: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ZTbY0BgIRMk.html
