7:00 Hori has a truck eco system just for you if you wanna try , i'd say it's 1000% better than what Moza is selling you ( just a trucking wheel with some controls nothing more ) and if u ever go down their company just don't buy straight from them , choose a reseller .

The trailer disapearing out of thin air kinda breaks immersion. If this were my game i would have it to where when you drive away the trailer disappears. But hey thats just me. Im sure this game is gona sell alot of copies on the console. As the other truck driving games are not so great. 😅
I see where you’re coming from. That would make it more realistic for sure. It’s become confirmation for me that I remembered to click that “accept” button at the end. Too many times I’ve forgot to do that and wondered why my old job was still showing 😂
Thank you! There is definitely more detail work that needs to be done in cab. It’s pretty good, but a little more detail like blinkers, adjustable seats, easier to read gauges, etc. would be very nice!
Unfortunately no. Another reason I do like Alaskan Road trucker a bit more…very immersive. In ATS you have to find a place to stop in order to sleep. Usually gas stations or random rest areas. I guess that’s how it is in real life mostly, but I like the animation of climbing into the back of the can to eat, sleep etc.
Wish they would add other big rigs in the ai... hate the idea of you being the only one in the state. At the very least, you could hire drivers and build up your own fleet, and then you pass them on the road from time-to-time whilst they are completing loads for you.
I totally agree! I would love to see some other big rigs on the road as well. I'm sure it's in the works. As well as being able to hire my own fleet would be amazing. I know the devs have been focused on getting the game ready for console release. Now that they have a release date for that, hopefully more stuff will be worked into the game in the future. It's already come long way since it's initial release.
Thanks for watching! There’s even more I haven’t unlocked or mentioned. There’s whale watching, starting up fisheries, fighting fires and of course the fishing I loved doing from previous games. I’m not 100% about controller support, but I know there’s controller settings in game and it appears you can configure key layout. If I get a chance later, I’ll try playing with my controller and see if it works.
As you I like cab view and I don't mind edit videos like this one or longer. Maybe do longer special videos for reaching milestones with the channel would be a good idea, and I would be happy to see some ATS videos in the future to

Thank you! I remember the request from my last video. I’ll have to try and tweak a few video settings possibly in order to make it work out. Since I use a steering wheel and not keyboard with mouse, it makes it a bit trickier. I was actually going to attempt it in this video, but it just wasn’t working the way I’d hoped. I’m hoping by time I’m able to sit down and record my next one, I’ll be able to work something out that works. I think we’re getting closer to a definitive console release date. There’s some speculation out there, but I haven’t seen or heard any official announcements yet.
Other than what I shared in this video? lol I love ATS! It really is a fun game and I play it quite often. I just don't compare this game to that one. Vastly different types of gameplay. I do lean more toward this one a bit more mainly because it's quite a bit more immersive. They're both amazing in their own rights. ATS is simply a haul cargo from point A to point B game. Nothing wrong with that, it's still a great game. The trucks, graphics and maps are amazing. The game has also been out 8 years to make this happen.
Hi, I just found your channel yesterday loving your alaskan Road truckers videos and nearly all Catched up just wanted to add a comment for you and others players notices you had the same set nav bug with the miles not going down and telling you to u turn if you go to the map screen and on your current job just click the set job destination and fixs it I had it a few times hopefully they fix it in the next patch 😀 👍ps just got to the part you notice it to and done what I said to fix it but it does happen very often
Thanks for watching! I’ve seen it a few times and reset it if I happen to catch it as well. It can get annoying missing your turn and not realizing it until you’re way down the road, then realize you missed your turn. The magic of editing helps me there lol. I still love the game though! Very minor bug compared to what the game used to have.
Thanks for watching! They are very different games. I love ATS! It’s very polished and for a game that’s strictly about getting a load from point A to point B it’s great. What got my attention about this game, was the fact they added the ability to get out of the truck, added the survival aspect to it, actually having to hook and unhook your loads by hand and so much more. It’s a lot more hands on which I enjoy. I could probably write an essay and bore you, but I won’t lol. The game does have its bugs, but I don’t feel like there are anymore at this point that I would consider deal breakers. There is a learning curve, but all in all…it’s a blast!!!

I had to ask for help on this one lol. I just use a knock off wheel and use the paddle shifters to shift the gears. It works great for me. The short answer is no, it wouldn't work the way you'd expect it to work in this game for you unfortunately. I got help from one of the Mods on their Discord channel. I don't know an exact date. They're pretty active in they're Discord talking about it. I believe their goal is later this year, I'm just not sure exactly when.
I just got this game today 4/28 and the very same thing happened to me on my first run out. I delivered my starter load, went to the HQ, got my first job and, BLAAMO out of nowhere like an RKO I got T Boned , slid forever and my cargo was 50 percent. I turned it off and watched your season 2 lol
It's sooo disheartening when that happens for sure! Luckily it's not like that all of the time. They are making progress with the AI traffic. Don't give up on it...it's a great game. Can't help but look back and laugh at those moments WAY after the fact lol.

You'll enjoy it way more with the wheel I'd imagine. I've only played with the wheel setup and love it that way. I do play Snow Runner from time to time, but haven't done any videos on it. I haven't got into Expedition quite yet. I do like American Truck quite a bit! I have a few shorts on here where I've played with my friends, but I haven't done any long form content on it. Love the game though! Can't wait for the new states to be released

Hello, do you talk to the devs directly on a regular basis? If so, could you ask them if they are going to improve the horrible sounding horn? Also, what about a Jake break on the truck? The snow breakup on the road looked not very good. I really am intrigued by this game and might get it for the Xbox when it is released. Needs some more polish though..I noticed the truck gets dirty! I wish there were other drivers with the big rigs sharing the road, that would be sweet! Keep up these vids please!😀👍
I don't talk to them directly, but I am on their Discord, which they are very active on. They listen to the community and take to heart all of the comments and suggestions. I really wish a jake brake would be integrated as well! It would be super helpful in this game. The snow breakup does get me too. It's very geometric lol. My best guess is they're trying to nail down how the AI drivers react before adding too many...including other big rigs...which will be nice to see in game as well! I do agree that there is a lot of polishing that needs to be done on this game, but they really have come a long way since the initial release. They are headed in the right direction. Snow does stick to the windshield. I have to keep my wipers going or else I won't be able to see out of them. I also have to use a scraper on them every now and then in game. I don't show it all of the time, because it gets pretty repetitive. There is some other AI traffic on the road here and there. Definitely more in some areas compared to others. Great video. There used to be a camera option to lean out the cab when reversing, but it seems to have gone now. It only has 3rd person views. I always liked that view it added to the immersion when reversing 😢
