Welcome to the channel if you're new, and welcome back if you're not. This is a pretty simple channel with a pretty simple idea, just play Pokémon and have fun. I've been to several regionals and even made it on the official stream once. I'm CERTAINLY no Tord or Azul, but I'll do my best to show you all some fun decks and competitive matches. When i go to large scale tournaments, I'll be sure to show you guys the experience from the ground level. Be sure to stay tuned, so you don't miss any of the fun coming up.
if you have a deck that you would like me to try out and possible feature, make sure to send it to the discord link below!
definitely have been seeing this deck on ladder lately, yea the dusclops and dusknoir are pretty game changing to the meta hopefully they release some kind of card in the future to at least check it.
feels like noir was a correction for the stall decks that were everywhere. it's werid that TPCI over corrects so much. lol. bring back the good old days of Drapion V.
i know im building it ILR for my local group to test against. i stand by what i said though, this deck needs a really good pilot. its a good deck, but it's not going to be winning a ton if you don't know how to use it correctly
Has been ny favorite deck this set, slapped in lilligant which has been mvp for getting a set up board. But ive been on massive streaks with the hydra, kinda wish it saw more competitive play
i posted on FB and a guy commented that he brought it to Dortmund. went 4-4 drop. i think it's missing 1 or 2 consistency cards, but i really do like this deck. i need to try it out IRL, but i think it's a sleeper!
i think i've always liked it, but never found it in my top 10, but after this deck, i gotta admit, the slowpoke line has grown on me. might have to so a solo run in violet with just this line. hahaha
i know right?! i almost want to build it IRL and play at locals. it's not so aggressive that i need to tone it down for the teens and kids either, especially when the Zard deck drops in NOV
I don't think Charjabug is great. It has 2 retreat cost and its only purpose is to put 20 dmg on the Zoroark which you can do with dmg pump. If it's gusted you are busted. And counting on 1 switch that can easily get discarded or paying DTE to retreat feels just bad. Also I prefer playing 3/3 dodrio line instead of Fezandipity. Otherwise a decent deck!
valid, but you're not going to win every match up. sure, this build get hit hard with a well timed gust, but, that can be addressed with adding another switch, or "just win bro" lol. you also have the choice not to play it down, using it for the ultra ball, or something else. you're not going to use it every single game, but having another option to help put damage counters down isn't going to hurt either. we've all seen games where 3 poffin, or VIP pass is prized, and it can happen to your pumps.
Small thing, but one thing I have noticed recently is that your camera is blocking the number of prize cards your opponent has in these videos. My suggestion would be to possibly move your camera down slightly to account for that since sometimes I forget just how many prizes they have already taken. Thanks and keep up the great work!
if you look on the right side of the screen, where the Vstar indicator and time each player has is, you can see how many prize cards each player still has left. i feel like the where i put the camera is kind of the best place to put it. it's out of the way for the rest of the information that needs to be known throughout the game, like what's in play, how many cards each player still has, and if there is a lost zone or not.
@@VanillaMagikarp lol I have never noticed that count on the right before. That makes a lot of sense. Thanks for pointing that out to me. Yes I do think when you have the camera in the best place now 😆
Very cool list. I used to run pala with a lost zone core but pecharunt seems to be the way to go for the deck. What do you think would be good additions from stellar crown?
i honestly have not looked into it for stellar crown. i've been so excited to make videos on the new decks, that i haven't looked at any of the older ones. lolol. give me another week or two, and i should have additions, but off the top of my head, not really. bernieswim is actually who i stole (i had permission) the list from. he might have a few more ideas
Let's go! This deck is the most fun I've had playing a Stage 1, 1 energy attachment deck w/ a weird gimmick since Rapid Strike Malamar and Granbull. Thanks for showcasing the deck!
i've meta couple of the top level players and had conversations, but i've yet to meet Jesse. would love to pick his mind and have a few minutes to get to know him.
Oh my world thank you greatly dear ❤❤❤ you are absolutely amazing, you always explain everything so well. I’m so happy you’ve made this deck and more power to your channel ❤❤
HAHA, thank you for the excitement!!! it's a fun deck to play. it wont be winning a regional anytime soon, but it's fun for your locals, or if you just want to fart around online
no clue yet. this coming season has weird dates and locations. as of right now, i don't even know if Texas is getting one. so probably June for NAIC in New Orleans
This deck has been all over the TCG live after worlds. I feel like I always wince every time I see it since I play mostly Charizard right now. Would be nice to hear counter play for these decks as well in the future, but keep up the great work!
it'll die down after Baltimore Regionals.........in September. the counter play is something like Chien Pao i think, or even Roaring Moon. a deck that doesn't rely on rule box abilities. i think the Zoro player in the video had a chance if they had evolved Dodrio faster. one prize decks will also be able to fight this pretty easily, something like united wings has a pretty good match up i think now
Curious if you usually play these cames in casual or ranked? Really unique deck that I had not seen before by the way. I might build it also since it is on the cheap side. Thanks!
so for the decks that come out on monday (meta monday) i tend to play on ranked, but also play with my friends if a deck isn't getting footage. (thorns was hard to get footage because people would just concede) for decks like this (fun deck friday) i play on casual.
sure. i will try to do more of that during games. i dont want to add more during the intro, those are already so long, and i dont want to bore you guys
HAHAHA, at this point, yes! i tried at least 10 different matches, and his was kind of the best. the 2 other games i won, they bailed after the first time i used Jynx
so funny story, i started testing with miraidon, and after about 20 games, i found that it became a 2 card liability, and a bench sitter. if I ran more electric pokemon, i might think about it, but i personally found that it was more of a liability that i could replace with nest balls.
You absolutely derserves more views and subs. Thank you for this list. I saw the full alternate art of Meowscarada and fell in love ❤. I also like adding stadium in my deck. Any suggestions? Have a great day ahead 🙏🏻
anything i would change or add now, will legit change tomorrow because of shrouded fables. i might revisit this deck after rotation in april though. thank you for the very kind words.
I’m a new Sub after watching your Blastoise deck. Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us. I’m also new with the Pokémon TCG and was looking for more Wigglytuff ex or Mismagius deck. Will you be making any deck of them? I see some deck build but so confused on how to play them and your videos are much easier to watch and understand. Many thanks and much love ❤️
thank you for the sub! i have a Wigglytuff ex deck on my mind, so i'll do my best to bring that out. i think it still needs work, but i can put more effort on it. look for Wigglytuff in the coming weeks. maybe 3-4 weeks
not meta. rogue deck at best, but probably only good at smaller tournaments like cups and challenges. nothing big like a regional. it'll catch people off guard and you'll cheese wins that way
he even says that it's a list from Japan....he did the video first, but i didn't rip it from him. can't give him credit for using a list he didn't win with. you can go on limitless TCG and find the list yourself...not used by him to win when i use a list from a CREATOR that wins a tournament, you can be assured, credit will be given.
Hey cool deck, I would recommend raising your audio up a bit or lowering the background music a little since it kinda makes it hard to hear you sometimes. but other then that keep up the great work!
thanks for the tip. i'v been playing wit the levels in post, so i will keep that in mind. blastoise and venusaur come out next week, so those might have a similar issue, but it'll be fixed after that
there's more to come. up next is Blastoise and Venusaur. i do take requests, discord.gg/zsMBEVUV you can join my discord and submit a list there, or you can always type it out here thank you for the support bud!!!
oh i noticed while i was editing. i threw my hands up and everything. it's weird going back and watching where i misplayed or could have done a smarter move. getting better every time i play though. good eyes!
it's just kind of the best place to put my head. lolol. if i put it in the middle, it blocks the LZ, and i can't block my prizes...so i think it's just the best place. still learning this whole thing. i also don't want it to be a distraction so upper left corner just felt right.
pretty sure my logic at the time, (recorded almost a month ago) was more damage gooder. (yes the bad grammer was intentional lol) good eyes though, that would have been a smarter play
I play this deck as my main deck on tournaments and online but with a little bit different deck list since Raging Bolt ex came out. I can say with all that experience I collect by playing this is you will have problem against Regidrago which can use Noiverns first attack, against Mimikyu which is almost an auto lost if you dont play any non ex or cant work around it and against most one prizer deck like baby Roaring Moon or lately the Articuno. This deck is trimmed to beat the big boys but struggles against the other ones on the long run. I try to implement the Cornerstone Ogerpon to counter at least Mimikyu and Regidrago but as soon as I change the deck list it hurts the consistency of the deck. But what I can recommend is to put one copy of Iron Bundle in it. It should helps to change the annoying active Pokemon and save the other cards for later.
I've found those to be a problem as well. I've only run into Drago once in all the testing, and none in person. mimikyu however, i have run into a lot. i added the baby sandy shocks, which has worked out great, but struggles with numbers if mimkyu or any other 1 prizer puts a charm on. I've also added a canceling cologne, and an extra boss to help with pests, but ultimately, there are some match ups, that are just going to suck no matter what you play. like Lugia going against Future Hands. thank you for the the feedback. i appreciate it!
