Come say hi! Join us if you like what you see. :) Diolch! (Thanks!) :)
Thank you so much Casey! I have come a long way and want to show people how I did it. This language means the world to me as does the land and the people. So kind, they look out for each other and help. We can learn a lot from them!
Hi Jen! Shw mae? It’s so lovely to hear your story and journey to wellness, alongside discovering and learning Welsh. Pob lwc i ti gyda’r arholiad! 🙂 Liam
Croeso i Gymru! I hope you had a wonderful time ❤ you pronounce Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch like a north Walian and better than most Welsh people!
I know that pigeon personally he eats from my hand every other day. Orange rock doves aren't that uncommon as there are quite a few around Colwyn Bay and the shopping centre. I know as I'm the guy who goes outside the shopping centre to feed them 2-3 times every day as I think they are awesome. If you see me out there, come over and say hello, as I love meeting new people and I always have some extra seeds to feed them with if you'd like to feed some. Although don't be upset if they don't feed from your hand or land on you, as they are wild birds and it takes time for them to trust people, they only trust me because I see and feed them several times everyday, even then they are still a little jumpy. 😊
Oh wow, diolch yn fawr! That's so nice of you! I was only in Wales for ten days and hope to return! Do you go to Ink.Gallery Cafe? The drinks are great and people very welcoming. I probably saw you feed the pigeons while I was down by the shopping centre.
Wasn't that a bookstore (& not a library)? You don't have to be quiet in a bookstore! Anyway I really like your drawing style! Bold lines mixed with soft 😍 I was hoping to see the other drawing, but I think I caught enough glimpses to get the gist. 😊 Right now (because I don't know very many), I think my favorite word in Welsh is "Diolch" & next to it is "Diolchgar," because it's always good to be grateful ☺️
Diolch! Yes, it was a bookstore. I have edited out the Karen at the end and plan on putting her into a blooper reel in the future. Thank you for your compliments on my art. The blog is MoronicArts.com and Diana is on it a lot. And "Diolch" is a great word! I have not run across "Diolchgar" yet so I learned something new! Caredig is a good word also, it minds "kind."
"If you're Scots you're welcomed all over the world" - a Scottish friend of mine. Not saying he was wrong, but the response to Wales is more like "where's that?"
It is so sad but true and I am trying to help fix that. I am flying over there tomorrow and will try my best to you do videos while I'm there if my device will let me. If not I will see you on the flip
@@JenXOfficialEDM that’s where I first heard it. There was also another sample too. One of those amazing moments where some small detail is that you realize you weren’t alone as a really big fan of Culture Beat to remember the website.
Thank you. That would be "Wish." I did a remix of that one also. It's either on here or my Soundcloud. Culture Beat is my all time favourite dance music group.
Thank you! After I aired my video they started stocking one at a time. Just one. I bought one and then they stocked another one which also sold. My hope is for them to multiply on the shelves, after all there are how many Ireland ones? :) Diolch (thank you) for commiserating. Have a great weekend!
