Welcome to my channel! My name is Roger Sandqvist and I live in southwest Sweden. The videos are from different parts of Sweden and since we have a lot of forest and many lakes, there are a lot of beautiful places to choose from.
Either I camp by myself or with some friends or with my wife. Canoeing in a lake or river is an easy and wonderful way to get around. Hiking with a backpack is also a great way to experience nature and a very good way to find beautiful campsites.
I will do some bushcraft, campfire cooking, building shelter but most of all enjoy every second of being in this fantastic environment. With my videos, I hope that you can follow and enjoy the wonderful feeling you have when you are out in the wilderness, free from all the stress and demands that you may have in our modern societies today.
You are warmly welcome to accompany me out into the beautiful and exciting Swedish wilderness
Thanks for your concern but I'm fine. I have moved to a new house located on an island on the Swedish west coast. A wonderful place but it has been a lot of work renovating the house. I will try to create a film that shows the beautiful nature of the island as soon as I get some spare time. Take care.😀
I almost bought a Gamme 8. But then I realized that the 14 ft and 2 inch domed footprint would be challenging to accommodate, with so many annoying campsite regulations with allowable space. I have no interest in a small tent, in fact Gamme 8 is the only tent that I could imagine wanting, because of its size, it being a free standing dome, and it’s extremely high quality. But then the stupid campsite problems. I guess that tenting just wasn’t meant to be for me. Unless I move to a more favorable location with FREEDOM.
Canadian wilderness canoer here - always nice to see what similar-minded folks do in their countries. Looks very similar to the terrain and forests of northern Ontario. Thanks for sharing.
Hi, this was an example of what you can do if you don't own a hammock. I own a hammock and love sleeping in it, so it's obviously a much better way to sleep in the woods.
