In this channel I'd like to show you my love for miniature painting along with some painting tutorials. I love collecting and painting models such as MESBG, Marvel Crisis Protocol, Harry Potter and Game of thrones.

I'm definitive not a master painter but I'm learning every day ;) and I'd love to share with you my tips and tricks.

Great stuff. I just got this pack a few days ago and haven’t assembled it yet. Nice to hear the new FW kits fit together fairly well. And I’ll be ready to get the green stuff out for that cloak lol

Amazing work, brother! I just picked up this whole range of minis and am about to have a crack at building them all up, have Arvedui and Malbeth primed and ready. I like your use of two things in particular; shading the flesh after the highlights as opposed to after the midtone, and not using a wash on the cloak and target recess shading with black mixed into the midtone. Very cool to see. I always wanted to try recess shading like that, preferably without mixing if I could (a proper triad), and was just worried I'd miss shading bits the wash would find. But for smooth surfaces like this with easy to fill recesses, it seems a great technique and I may even try it! Thanks for the video as I'm working out a gameplan for painting all of mine to boxart as well.

Thank you so much for your kind words and sharing your experience! I'm constantly trying other stuff but I'm not always happy with my results. I make a plan for my video's and kind of hope that it works out which is very exciting. I started this hobby around the year 1999-2000 and there was very little help to find on how to best paint these miniatures. Nowadays the internet is providing with so many tips that it can help us improve our work. I've yet to paint all of Arnor myself (just received all the new models myself). I'd love to hear from you in the future and please share some tips and tricks that work for you so we can all benefit!

@@Misterminipainter I started at a similar but bit later time, around the Two Towers release in 2004ish, and I had no idea what I was doing but ended up years later with some small painted armies using just basic basecoat and shade methods. Now I've been honing in on layering and currently practicing my highlighting skills, and its been a blast. I really look forward to painting these guys as I am growing fond of painting greens and browns/neutrals etc. I think I will do a Duncan style basic approach with a base coat + shade, layer, 1-2 highlights. Though I definitely need to practice my recess shading, I am just finally getting comfortably confident using my practiced method. Faces will be a big thing to work on for me, as I never could quite get them to not look so starkly contrasted as I am not particularly a fan of mixing paints to achieve a smoother progression in color spectrum. Time to build some metal!

@@legiox217 The "face problem" is recognizable. Although I've been practicing with my wet palette some time now and I'm getting a hang of it. I'm still not a professional but I'm learning everyday and really love doing it and in the end, that's what matters: doing something you love in a way that suits you/

Absolutely amazing tutorial, thank you so much. I have all the colours you used and my arnor army is coming next weekend, cant wait to paint it! Only thing I am considering doing differently, is possibly buying some leadbelcher primer, as there will be many models to paint.

Thank you for your comment! For most armies with a lot of metal armor it's absolutely worth priming them in a metal color such as leadbelcher. For the remaining colors it's might sometimes mean that you need a second layer to cover up de metal, as it can be persistent. I've also ordered several new Arnor models, so I won't have to worry about what to do......for the next few years.... hahaha

Thanks for the advice. Just painted the first one. Having difficulties with the turban. Would massively appreciate any further Arnor tutorials :)

Hi. I haven't played this new game yet. I did so with the older version of it. I mainly enjoy the painting of these models, as I also do with LotR , GoT and MCP. I play to little. 🤨 I have played "Catch the Snitch" (also by #knightmodels) which is a lot of fun to play and has some great models as well
