Watching Rediculousness last night, there was a dad at a bike & skate park. He took a pretty easy, but kinda big, jump SEATED. The expected result ensued. Really harsh OTB onto concrete. Knocked out cold. Probably concussed. Definitely a big ouchie, or worse! So then I happened to see a Mythbusters reunion and the clip of Tory pulling this failed bunny hop stunt. Ouch! "Shlecdte dingen" Hilarious! Dutch & German are often close, and this is a good example!
And you whonder why they let Tory do the kinda dangerous stunts because his insurance looks at his stupidity and is like yep your covered the older chaps we can't afford to fix so that's why Tory does the dirty
despite speaking Dutch, I could not help but cringe whenever I heard them speak because I never had or would see the Simpsons in a language other than English, but considering how bland and formulaic most car commercials are, you could argue this one stands out because of the simpsons. it's like that "Stressmannetje" commercial by flemish public transport company "De Lijn". it's not a particularly special commercial, but what makes it great is that it lived it's life as an internationally recognized meme on the internet beyond it's regional and temporary commercial life.
Don't get me wrong that bike accident is very memorable, but it's him singing the wizard of oz witch theme just before it that really just lives in my head rent free
