I am not Black or British so rather than mimic Lilli Cooper's voice which would be inappropriate in my opinion, I decided to give my own take on the role. -Knox
Honestly it's not healthy for me to push my voice like that and we do our recordings in big batches across songs, so I have to prioritize the health of my vocal chords over that one moment. Even what we put in the recording had my throat hurting for a day. Ultimately I'm not gonna be able to deliver enough power to match Jorge there, but I hope you still enjoyed the song anyways -Knox
