I have so many fund memories of playing with Bionicles and my imagination running wild. So many great memories playing with my cousin and my friends. It was a big part of my childhood. I live in Iran so there weren’t as many sets available in the early 2000s but I saved all my money through the holidays to buy every new set that came out. I just wanna say thank you for creating such a cool story and character for all children around the world Lego is the most amazing toy and bionicles were most certainly the best Lego theme

When I was around 12 my parents managed to find that set sealed for me on eBay. Opening it and building it was such a core memory for me. I was very aware that I probably would never get to experience anything like that again.
The man that saved lego and created bionicle made my childhood memorable. I loved my first bionicle Toa Pohatu Nuva. The anniversary one to remember Tahu to me doesn't look or feel like Tahu. If a remake could return my only hope is that lego and technic bring back what made bionicle so great, even if it became their first Mature audience it was truly an amazing franchise with great storytelling.

The chronicler is there?! I'm shocked they had the og flame sword when Tahu didn't meet Takuya until after evolving to his dual bladed form per the movie at least. This whole fandom was my childhood thanks for creating it! I had every set up until Takuya mask of light and Makuta set! Played all the games. UNITY! DUTY! DESTINY! My inner nerd heart is so happy seeing this!!!
I find it funny how Lego call him the co-creator when this man single-handedly created it during one of the worst times in his life and then when he posed an awesome idea for 2015, they discarded him despite his condition saved Lego!

Amazing. Onua’s eyestalk being glow in the dark is something someone once mentioned, and I’ve been thinking about it a lot lately as I’ve collected the two “European misprint” Kaukaus and noticed they share a color with toa eye stalks. Why do these Kaukaus exist, why was a mask never made that matched Tahu’s eyestalk, and why was Onua’s eyestalk changed from glow in the dark to green?
I just got all 6 original Toa from eBay. I love the original designs the best, especially Tahu. Timeless perfection. Bionicle was the coolest thing when I was a kid! I’m 28 and still love them.
