Bought one and the launcher was so loose that I returned it. No screws to tighten it and the dude I talked to at Lancaster told me his was the same. My HDX was great, this one was a piece of garbage.
With the vertical adjustment being left connected to the riser, you can’t set up different blocks for different arrows… especially going from 27 diameter arrows to 22 diameter arrows (for wind) even more if you go to 4mm arrows…
Hey QAD, just some foodback here, you're "ergonomic thumb lever" prevents a bow with your rests from being drawn on a draw board.... A critical pi ce if equipment we use to work on our bows... Try putting a bow on a draw board.... Youll see what i mean ;)
Wow crazy how things have changed. I am just getting back into Archery. Used to shoot competitions when I was 12-15 40+ years ago. I used a pacesetter arrow rest back then. Fletchamatic release.
Would be awesome if you did a torque tuning video with this rest man. There’s nothing like that on RU-vid. And take some from Chris bees videos he’s got the product front and Center! Awesome video! Would love to see more from you!!!!
I JUST ORDERED ONE OF THESE, I ALSO HAVE 2 OF THESE ON OTHER BOWS WICH ARE NOT INTIGRADED! I LOVE THEM, BUT THE PRICE IS NUTS! I THINK THIS WILL BE MY LAST ACCESSORIE PURCHASE! ARCHERY IS NOW ONE OF THE MOST EXPENSIVE SPORTS OUT THERE AND THAT IS SAD! YES I COULD HAVE GOTTEN LESS EXPENSIVE GEAR , BUT IF YOU WANT QUALITY TECHNOLOGY YOU GOTTA PAY!!!
I liked it until i looked it up... over 400 dollars.....way to expensive for Amature shooters. There are plenty for half the price and this shooter wont know the difference
Best dang broadhead I've ever used! SAME 125 Grain Swept broadhead has taken 6 KY Whitetail with very little dulling!!!! Hit it on a whetstone (after the 3rd deer) for 6 passes each side and razor sharp again for the next 3
There are 3 different kinds on the market as far i can see, my bow is the PSE EVO EVL 34. There is one for PSE, but my question is, does fit the mattews or the hoyt version, also on my PSE bow?
Loosen the cable and pull it tighter about 1/8” a 1/4”. Your rest should be coming to full 90 degree the last inch or so of your draw cycle. Mine was, but the timing just needed adjusted slightly. See if that helps
I quite like the dovetail fixture system idea but why not use picatinny ? Have the lock as well but it gives you the built in groove lock, issue might be chips to the extra edges (provide a cover for the unused section of the rail ?)
Great video but how do you handle different nock thicknesses for different arrows & the D-loop when changing the rest? Using thin .166's would have alot of slack vs indoor 23's. Thanks!!
You can get the same size in a pin adapted bushing for the bigger dia arrows. For me, I shoot a Beiter Hunter 19/2, whether pin or uni size the nock on the string is the same.
Great information and video. For future videos could you add a little more light? Then I could see in greater detail the different features of small and intricate pieces of equipment.
I just bought a Vertix with this same rest installed, I didn't care for it at first and I was about to replace it with the Hamskea Trinity I have on another bow, but when I tried it I can tell you with full confidence, I'm not taking it off the Vertix, it's so accurate and it doesn't bounce like many rests I used in the past, I did put some white powder in the fetching of the arrow to see if it touches but it never did, this is the first time I see a rest that stays put with all that vibration from a 75 pounds, I'm starting to hit the X for the first time with a Vertix, that was only possible with my TRX 7, it's definitely a keeper. The only gripe I have with it is that the containment claw is made out of plastic, I wish it were made of aluminum to make it bullet proof like the Hamskea. And did I mention it looks sleek on the riser, like it's a part of it.
I just purchased the Ultrarest HDX. Product looked superior to other products but the #1 reason I chose QAD is because of this right here. MADE IN USA!!!
Thanks for the paint chip on my new ambush green VXR Mathews....the rest really helped show that aluminum shine below that nice paint that NOBODY WANTED TO EVER SEE
@@wrxified oh look who just learned how to use the internet! Good for you! Soon you’ll be able to use big words too! Use that top notch 6th grade education :) happy for you
