For sure, this being my first project like this it was kind of like exploratory surgery. Surprisingly patching the holes went a lot better than I expected, especially considering I'm terrible with finish work like that 😁
My Uncle was a tradesman like myself and he used to ride 4 wheelers all through the country of Massachusetts. He told me of these "extreme climbing trucks" back in 2003.
@@towerofresonance4877 Sorry to hear about your uncle's passing but glad you were able to share those memories. This kind of 4 wheeling is certainly a lot of fun!
I am going to be installing a new toilet and floor in a mobile home. The floor that it is sitting on right now is bare(was taken out, then reinstalled after removing old damaged flooring. The floor around the toilet has to match the floor 4 feet beyond that which requires the toilet to go up 3/4 of an inch. Will this be a whole can of worms? Or is it just a thicker gasket over the flange?
I am certainly not an expert on that but I suspect there should be a taller toilet flange that you could use. There may be options out there that can compensate for the 3/4" difference as well, any hardware store should be able to point you in the right direction.
@lifebyjim740 Thank you so much for getting back! I think I'm going to use the option of installing the vinyl flooring but using a slightly thicker toilet gasket afterward as thats only a 2mm difference. I will get creative and create a molding drop that looks fitting❤❤
Very helpful. I’m in the process of “thinking” about replacing my toilet in my vintage 1990’s mobile home. Such a daunting task but it needs to be done. This video definitely helps me figure out the process at least.
@@hosearobinson179 Turn it right to shut off the water. I then flush the toilet to make sure the toilet doesn't fill back up, that way you know the water is turned off.
