Burushaski Research Academy Historical and Cultural documentation of Burusho tradition by Baba-e Burushaski Hazrat Allamah Nasiruddin Nasir Hunzai. This was landmark initiative of Buzurgwar (Baba-e Burushaski) who has documented cultural presentation of various trades, customs and cuisines of Burushos. Many of these traditions and trades have become obsolete and unknown to millennials. Many of our elderly participants in the event are not with us anymore

Mashalah, The Darwaz district was a district in Badakhshan Province in Afghanistan until 2005. It was part of the historic region Darwaz which is now divided between Afghanistan and Tajikistan. In 2005 Darwaz District was subdivided into Maimay District, Darwazi Bala District, and Shekay District. And the very interesting thing is that the ruler of the Darwaz is also known as MIR.
