Welcome everyone! My name is Erick and I call the Ten Thousand Islands my home! I fish on my Gheenoe LT25. I mainly target Snook, Tarpon, and Redfish in the backwaters/creeks.
You probably have done this already, but there is a setting for vessel 'size' on the iPilot/Minnkota. I would adjust to -1 or -2 and see if it smooths out for you on spot lock and just in general. If it is a 24v system/motor it helps. Ignore if done this, but I just did this after 2 years of ownership and I fish mega rips...made a HUGE difference in smoothness.

Yanking those chunks outta mangroves is not easy. Nice work! 50 lb and put your back into it. Some people think they're snagged and break line pulling...chances are it's a big ole jewfish
👏👏🎣May those scratches in the snooks be caused by Goliaths? Sometimes even the juveniles try to eat something large they actually can and the snooks are able to get out, not without some scratches,

Plantation is probably one of my least favorite spots to fish solely due to the fact that there seems to be a billion mosquitos at all times, even the dead of winter in the middle of the day.
