If you don't take the second point to make swarm stronger is there any reason to take swarm at all I m+? Genuinely curious picked up feral last week and I LOVE feral frenzy
I also feel very low on damage. I‘m sitting on a 612 ilvl right now and deal almost 300k less then most other dd specs. Spent a lot of time now videoanalyzing to check if my rotation/ my build is broken. As I just started this season again to play I‘m sure a big portion of the lack of dmg is my fault. But the gap just feels really huge. The only time I shine is with cd‘s up.. Really don‘t know how to keep up with other specs. Not getting invited to other keys sucks after hours of queuing 😅
Thanks for the video dude! At around 25:25 talking about circle of life and death, my understanding was that the bleed duration actually isn’t reduced but instead, the intervals between bleed ticks is shorter, is that wrong?
Yeah your understanding isn’t quite right. Yeah, the tick intervals are shorter but the amount of ticks are the same with and without circle. So the tooltip is exactly how it functions: “dots tick faster”
@@leoncloud6683 it does yes, and it should be yeah but it means lower rip duration so fewer bite opportunities. Not necessarily the worst thing if you find your PWing more than biting
Do the bite talents e.g. tfb work with ravage? Is that why they are an instant take for someone running dotc rather than a talent to consider like for wildstalker? Also, previously lots of builds used just swarm wirhout unbridled. Do you think this is still feasible or they are more a package deal
Feral is literally throw everything you got into a small 10s window and then wait and do nothing till you hit the gacha of a Omen proc , Only to be outdps'd and utilitied by a mage 10ilvls lower than you who got the game today
@@Psybear_tv Yeah Its damage isnt suuper bad , but when it comes to competing outside of dps its really lacking apart from survivability . Also in my experience you rarely get chosen for a group . very disheartening
@@rafael780 I wouldn't say way better. It's played in the top end keys because of better survivability and it's easier to play. The damage between the two is similar though. I've been playing WS in 11s and had no issues so I think you can play whichever you prefer

Thanks! Curse dispel is really important in grim batol almost vital. It's also very strong in stonevaults. And siege of boralus. Poison dispel is helpful in ara kara, mists, city of threads and siege
Nice guides! Keep it up. I tried feral in m+, but it just feels “alot to track and press ” for medium dps outputs. Alot other specs pump alot harder and with a easy rotation. Sadly i swapped back to Guardian(main spec). I hope they get a boost somehow!
Sorry I'm gonna yap a bit. The state of feral druid kinda sucks. Feral is easy to play but hard to master I think. If you want to min / max you need to download weak auras for snapshotting and know when to energy pool. I do think feral is due to a giant overhaul. I don't mind the bleed playstyle but being energy starved doesn't feel good. We need a removal of energy cost on ferocious bite and more reward damage for upkeeping bleeds. They can make talents synergies with bleeds and bites, they did it with wildstalker but.. doesn't feel good. They could do that with the main talent tree. Rip / primal wrath bleeds cause a bloodclot on your primary target. Biting that target burst dealing aoe damage spreading it to other targets. If in single target, the bloodclot will do x amount of damage. Have other talents synergies whenever you burst a bloodclot to give more bite damage or more existing rip damage.
Feral is bad. I am main feral for years and now i switched to paladin. You cant compare feral and retribution. Retri got so much QoL changes and reworks it feel new and fresh, feral is stucked in past and need big rework for me to play it again.
Tigers fury no longer resetting after kills was just a really weird change for me I loved it I felt like I was swimming with energy and it felt really fast paced, now it just feels alot slower, with loads of down time just sitting waiting for energy, I dont understand this change the damage feels decent but the slow pace just doesn't fit in with the whole fast attacking cat
Actually, Feral in tww is okay. But instead of talking about the dmg. The most disappoint thing is tiger fury can’t reset when minions die anymore. Which means that I can’t use it when every fight start.
Me too, I found I preferred not to even cast Thrash (which is necessary to proc Bloodtalons when Brutal Slash is on CD) and also it is guaranteed to fall off in convoke (and often in berserk)
@@Cappa-WoW in theory you'd want to be low energy but it's more important to get your cool downs going at an intelligent time in the fight. No point waiting to be out of energy and then mobs are too low for CDs to be worth etc
Annoys me that people, especially druid players, feel the need to bitch about balance players asking for buffs. The spec did no damage before it got buffed massively in heroic week. Why the fuck would people not ask for buffs. Even with the buffs, it is bottom 5 in raid.

I get the idea behind the tutorial system but yes, it's godawful in how it's made For some reason the entire idea is to only really care about getting players to max level as fast as possible, and while I get that for a lot of experienced players that's the preferred method, for a NEW player who doesn't know anything about WoW, they want context, they want the story. They want to be motivated to play, motivated to actually go out into the world. The tutorial does none of this. It just tells you to do things for a lot of it. Having played Classic as well recently, it's just such a better intro, it actually makes you learn about your race, learn about your place in the Horde or Alliance, learn about the world around you.
The final phase of ultimates is usually a victory lap with mechanics that are still stressful and difficult but not as crazy as the rest of the fight. The final phase is usually just a attrition phase where you just have to do the same mechanics over and over again while trying to kill the boss before he enrages and usually is the tightest dps check you can imagine while still fresh content.
off topic question, is that damage meter look just a customized details or a different addon? i've seen a few people with it, and i love how it visually fits into the default ui.
In ffxiv usually when there are multiple stack markers going off at the same time the markers are on the two healers. So you usually set up two groups before the fight that consists normally of a tank a healer and two dps for those instances
DOTC in m+ feels insanely more stronger than wildstalker (also in sims) due to the set 4pc ability. First pull today of NW +11 i've reached 12kk. I end my keys usually at 1.6-1.8 (depending on pulls)
So the push back. The two towers on the perimeter of the arena have a different number of beacons within. The number of beacons indicates how many players must soak in order for the tower to not erupt and cause a potential wipe. On top of that the damage the towers deal is split among the people soaking. Because of this the tower with only 2 beacons will do alot more damage to the players soaking than the tower with 3 beacons. At the same time 2 random DPS will get the white triangle markers on them which indicate that a proximity based erruption will occur on those players as a result you want them to go to the opposite corners of the room devoid of the towers so the soaking players take as little damage as possible from the proximity damage. So. The two tanks soak the pillar with only 2 beacons. The two DPS with proximity markers go to the opposite corners of the map where there are no pillars. The rest of the group take the last pillar with three beacons. Also the beacons indicate only the minimum number of players that must soak. If you have everyone alive you will have 4 players soaking the tower with three beacons and split the damage with all four making it even safer. Edit : I was wrong. I forgot one player is the one with the push back marker. That player must stand in the dead center of the arena. If they are too off center it can cause some players to be knocked back unevenly causing a wipe or those players could even be sent off the edge. Edit again : players will also have debuffs on them that will signify what mechanic they have on them so even with the messy visuals it's still very easy to tell what mechanic you have on you.
i feel like feral is very uncomfortable to play every time i try to play him.. need WA's for bleeds etc.. its a husle to play this class... like lets say a warrior.. u can turn off ur brain and just play
I'm playing the dotc build, I cant make WS work for me I'm too challenged. During berserk windows I find that I'm spamming primal wrath, and just biting on procs and ravageing during its procs. Is this incorrect? should I be spamming bites instead of primals?
The issue is getting accepted into keys. I'm 612 with 1.7k io but still can't even get into 7 keys. I feel the feral spec has been tarnished over the years and no one respects the spec. I think blizz just needs to provide a rework to feral and do a complete overhaul.
if you are 1.7 it's normal that you don't get accepted into 7. 2k is 3 keys 7 and all 6. People will never pick someone with "some 7s" to do a 7. I'm not saying that is right, i'm just explaining that you getting declined is "normal". If it can comfort you, i'm 2.5k and i get declined from 9. My suggestion: queue your own key.
@Rinoxable My perspective is based on experience when queing into pugs as feral vs. other classes. I've been playing M+ since Legion, but this is my first expansion playing feral. My enhancement shaman and ww monk dont have these issues, which is what i find odd. I guess I'll just push my own key until 2k / 2.1k and test again.
I feel your pain and it probably seems that way but it's not actually a feral problem. It's the situation of the player base right now. Try signing up a +7 ara kara and see how many applications you get. Dozens. There's just so many people applying to keys that you're drowned out. For now I'd recommend pushing your own keys. It's brutal at times but at least you're in the dungeon 👍
@Rinoxable so if he has to do better than some 7s and 6s to be accepted into 7s how THE FUCK is he gonna do that. Clearly he needs 7s to improve his score then right?
I have been trying to find a better way to track bleeds / debuffs but haven't found anything that works. Any tips? I feel like I'm doing decent with getting most snapshots but seem to miss just enough to track them better
I track everything in my head/with base UI. So I'm probably the worst person to ask. For me it was just hours of practice each day. There's plenty of weakauras out there though, maybe try the dream grove discord pins?
