Hello RU-vid! I'm SimpsonsClips24. I am a huge fan of The Simpsons, Futurama and Family Guy, but I am also a TV historian who likes to recover lost episodes of TV programmes that were recorded on VHS from their original broadcasts.
I am also a kiddie ride enthusiast, and I like to film kiddie rides wherever I go.
I watched this version when I was very little so the only thing I could remember was the disgusting cucumber and the group of sleeping human-bean eating giants 😂 I don’t even remember the songs, the fight, and the queen.
I like how they fought the most violent giant together. Disney version seems too easy and quick. I also like the musics. It’s more like what Disney would do actually 😂 The resolution is poor but it makes it more magical ! Sometimes we don’t need high resolution and realistic 🤔
I like the inclusion of the WB family entertainment logo since this fits the films status and would have been perfect under this release had it been released by warner bros or warner bros family entertainment
It's actually quite interesting that you added actors from Bob the Builder's US dub, considering the fact Rob Rackstraw (prior to his work on CGI Thomas) and Kate Harbour voiced characters in both shows.
Percy the Park Keeper - Series 2 (2000) Voice Cast: Featuring Jim Broadbent as Percy the Park Keeper Animals played by: David Holt Kate Harbour Chris Lang
Interestingly, a clip from the episode "Brum and the Wheels" would be reused for a CBeebies promo made in 2004 that include clips from the "Postman Pat" episode "Postman Pat Takes a Message", the "Bob the Builder" episode "Muck Gets Stuck", the "Little Red Tractor" episode "The Lucky Day" and the Series 1-4 intro of "Fireman Sam".
I’m so glad someone recorded this, as it’s lovely to look back at. I went there as well, and it was kinda emotional seeing it all in person. I’m so pleased that there’s a proper archive for Cosgrove Hall, as not all animation history is preserved for future generations unfortunately.
