I always feed the wild rabbits in my yard lettuce, carrots and hay my housebun won't touch. They never eat it though!! 😢 Congrats on these babies eating yours 😊🐰
What a calm and nice video, thanks for sharing! I love that you're talking so calm to her and Feelnix is one of the cutest wild rabbits I've ever seen! The little tongue flicks are adorable, my buns do that too when they eat grapes and strawberries :D
@@MorchSevonth Sometimes, it's really difficult unless they have distinguishing marks, scars or characteristics. For Instance, Mama Rabbit has a tiny piece of earlobe missing, a tuft of fur that sticks up on top of her head and a broken toe that sticks outward.... Thumper has a split at the tip of his ear. Feenix is very speckled and when she takes food from me she's very gentle unlike others. Sidenote: I'm not sure if sweet Mama Rabbit passed away. I haven't seen her in about 28 days now. I've been feeding her for 2 years. I sure do miss her! 🥺 She was the first one I started feeding and we had a special bond. She was like my little pet. 🐇🥰❤🙏🏼
I think that Tootsie and Friend are siblings and the children of Feenix and Thumper - an eastern cottontail family! How sweet! Thanks for sharing these precious bunnies and their lives!
Sometimes mamas leave their territories to have a litter elsewhere when it’s this late in the mating/birthing season. Don’t give up hope. I understand how much these sweet beings mean to you. And the mamas, who are with us the longest and trust us with their babies, tend to mean the most. Sending good thoughts that your Mama bunny is alright and comes back to see you swiftly ♥🐰♥

@@Chris-ko5gk No, I wish. The most I've touched is her little soft nose. But, she won't let me pet her... she hops back. Some of the babies have allowed me to gently pet their head though. 😊 🐇
