Debut album 'Can't Talk Medicine' available now. Pickwick's fusion of soul and R&B vocals, influenced by 60's garage rock, makes for an explosive rock show that has won over fans and critics nationwide. In 2011, the band released their Myths 7-inch series that landed them on KEXP and The Stranger's list of bands to watch. The debut full-length Can't Talk Medicine follows the band's January 2013 covers EP which included stand out track "Lady Luck" featuring Sharon Van Etten. The band's hive of recent activity prompted Seattle Weekly to proclaim "Is 2013 the Year of Pickwick? This Covers EP Says Yes".
This band like a lot of bands get NO FUCKING CREDIT. While corporate Manchurians for the bringer of light get all the fame and exposure. We need decentralization of music. Man. What a tragedy.
Great sound evolution, been following you as a group since I caught your free concert in Seattle at the Mural by the science center. I was in high school then and I'm now a married woman with a masters degree. Played Blackout at my wedding... If this had been out, it would have lit up the reception. Thanks for being there guys
Dude, your vocal chops are amazing. I love the subtle change in melody with the same chords, and the interesting bridge. And, the wonderful percussion and keys at about 2:00. Wonderful song!
@cvessell1 sad they split up, I really enjoyed their music. Super cool he's ur teacher now, though. I bet he's great! Tell him I said he needs to get the group back and make another album 🤣
