Hey Ann Harper, do you have an email address at which we could contact you regarding this video? We would be interested to discuss a license to use this video if this is generally possible? (i.e. via email) 🙂 Cheers, Felix
Wow.. this is crazy and I am SO glad it’s still up. These were the years ! Miss all my old teachers and it’s great to see everyone how I remember. Oh how times change !
I'm pretty sure whales know most humans are intelligent. I bet they would love to talk to us as much as we would love to talk to them. Get video, thanks for sharing.
Whale: ".....and, and it was silver and torpedo shaped.... and there were these small pink humanoids with dark almond shaped eyes....no, I'm telling you I saw them.... I was right next to them.... I know what I saw".
About 20 years ago, i took my family on a whale watch off the coast of Marshfield, Mass. A humpback started rubbing his belly on our boat causing it to rock and another surfaced right next to the boat so close that i was able to reach over and pet it on the head and talk to it. It was a full grown male. He was so curious and gentle and after a minute or so he just slipped back under the waves and disappeared.
Pretty much to impossible to identify a single whale without seeing underneath, and knowing what to look for! The females are typically bigger but obviously without another there to compare, hard to tell - if you're not already familiar with the fluke (tail) pattern. So, maybe it was a he, but maybe not ;)
Amazing. Love your calm attitudes of pure wonder and respect without screaming and getting frantic as many people do. Those 'nodules' or aka 'tubercles', are hair follicles supposedly w sensorial functions.
Good energy on that boat, or the whale would not have come to visit and stayed so long! Bless your pea picking hearts! Carry a medium stiff deck brush next time! Bet he/she would live that.
Best not to touch wildlife; it can damage their skin and introduce bugs they don't need to deal with - the whale knows where to go to get the scratches and fishy treatment services it needs! It's just watching people, like we like to watch them
Yes, this was maybe the best whale video I’ve ever seen! You guys were really blessed to have that whale just very relaxed and sitting right next to you and turning over to eyeball you as you were saying or one of you were! Beautiful! Thank you to whomever videotaped this and the other people there and your comments!
