all this car is a ford LTD remember the wonderful 56 t bird are the 62 t bird then they came out with this 1973 peace of ........ monster and then in 58 the Edsel no body back then like the grill work. and what it look like ,, not going to go there... what are they thinking...
Before COVID hit I was at a car show that among others featured a 76 T-Bird. It was the kids, pre teen & teenagers, that absolutely loved this car. Quite a set of wheels when contrasted with SUV's & Mini Vans. All the best from your Nova Scotia friends.
I think the forged aluminum wheels came out in 74 or 75 and they always looked great - when they were polished. They turned cloudy pretty quickly and were a constant effort to keep up with. I had a 76 Tbird with these wheels and they had black thunderbird center emblems. Nice old 73 though.
Cool car. Do you still have it? I have the same one in brown. The center caps on your wheels with the red center are for the LTD and Mercury Marquis. I have an LTD and have been looking for them. Sadly from 2030 on all combustion cars including classics will be banned from public streets in entire EU and Scandinavia :-( In Germany the Green Peoples Party gave order to shorten fuel supply from 2025 on by reducing all conventional fuel stations to only one state operated central gas station per city or county. Now they want to slow down all the gas station fuel pumps from 20 litre per minute to 2 litre per minute...From 2027 on in the EU certain car spare parts will be banned too....as exhaust systems, turbo chargers and even some engine and gearbox oils...California and New York will do the same from 2027 on.... So no investments should be done in oil burning cars any longer....They even created a new kind of crime here, called emissions and smoke crime :-(
Only thing sadly that I've read is this exact word for word long winded comment on several old smoggy muscle car videos, California and new York are both corruptly run shitholes and can ban what they want to, wouldn't count on that catching on ANYWHERE else here.
@kolchak999 you can find the framenumber on the placard in the door frame at the passenger side. And on top of the dashboard looking through the window(from outside), like on modern cars.
hello can you help me with one question ?. I bought this car from Russia (ford thunderbird 1973) I am interested in whether there is a frame number on it ?? it is necessary for the registration of cars in Russia . for earlier, I am grateful to everyone for any answer .
The VIN number should be under the glas in the windshield on top of the drivers side dash. In Denmark we must repeat it by hammering it into the frame manually.
