We have been hit hard by hurricane Helene and cell reception is spotty. Still no power after 6 days. Sorry for the delay, we are limping along. I believe it is in the comment section of the video.
Hi Chris … thank you for your reply on rivets. I was just reviewing the tutorial again. It appears I do not have the Zipper Pocket Piece. Where can I find it?
Diane, are you referring to the zipper pocket overlay? That is cut from the faux leather. I might be misunderstand your question though. If so, please ask again.
Hey Chris, I hope you are doing ok with all the chaotic storms and clean-up. Thinking of you all. Duh! I figured out the Zipper Pocket Piece-it’s actually a measured piece down in the instruction page. I guess I need to read even more thoroughly. Thank you for all you do to help us❌⭕️
Ah, great question. I have a Simply Classic Clutch that I made with it. I will post a photo of it as soon as I can. Currently no power from Hurricane Helene!!
I think your lining base didn’t match at one end because you marked the centres before you sewed the seam, so that one end is smaller by the amount of the seam allowances. If you mark the centres after sewing the seam everything would be even 😀. You could also have slightly adjusted the placing of the pockets on the unsewn lining so that they are centred after sewing the seam. Just a thought - and its it’s a lovely bag nevertheless less x
Hi Chris, can you tell me were you buy your decovil from? I think I just paid $50.00 for shipping from Australia. Wait let me get back to you . I have to go cancel that order. Sorry
Yes. I get it from Got Interfacing when they have it. Here is a link. www.gotinterfacing.com/ They have some alternatives that you may want to try as well.
Thank you for this wonderful hack. I am also a huge Dooney and Bourke fan. I have this purse and have wondered about duping it. So glad I found your channel.
I love how you did the handles, I never watch your videos without learning some things I’ve never done. Also curious about thread, can this type of thread work on a domestic machine? Pattern is awesome 👏
This makes me inspired to remake one of my favorite crossbody patterns. NO SIDE SEAMS, I’m going to cut my sides on fold. The front I will split and add a decorative woven section. This will allow the ease I need for my crossbody strap on sides. Wow, thank you for this awesome idea!❤
I'm so excited to start my bag. I have all the materials I need except the rivets. Could you please let me know what size rivet I should use? Thank you.
