I really like this, it is charming and it's what I imagine traditional Irish dance was before it became "Riverdance-ified". Much as I loved Riverdance as a revolutionary piece of dance, I think it is a pity that it has totally changed the nature of traditional dance, making it overly showy and flamboyant, with the huge wigs and super-sparkly outfits. I see the same thing happening with traditional Scottish Highland dancing.
Danke! Dies ist vor allem auf den Einfluss Irlands zurückzuführen. Aber wir schließen nicht aus, dass unsere eigenen Fantasien irgendwo zum Vorschein kommen.🙂
Beautiful technique, grace, calm and so many other supportive adjectives. I was in Galway for the first time today, hoping to see her dance. Galway hit the spot for me! Hope to see her perform one day in person. I'm off to Croagh Patrick!
Love it! Y'all brighten my day every time a new video pops up! If there weren't a few complications, I'd be over there telling you how marvelous you are in person! Sweeeeeet.
Love it! I missed this video somehow! I love this version too, Jackie O'Riley & Rebecca McGowan taught to me in Boston when I was passing through once - we do a step swap whenever I visit. It is those same 2 ladies who wrote the Silver Slipper hop jig - ❤
