1000 yards in 17 games shouldn’t be the standard. The standard I believe should be at least 1,200 yards. A 60 yard per game average isn’t outstanding.

Going back some time ago on other chat forums, I said if you aren't going to use Sean Tucker at the running back position then you should trade him instead of wasting his talent. I didn't want to see Rashaad injured for Tucker to get his opportunity but hey that's the same way Brady got his shot to show everyone what he could do. Time will tell if Tucker or Bucky should be the #1 running back but it's not going to be Rashaad much longer if they go strictly by results.

#44 is a Beast, 4th Q back, is what I'd use him for, let Rachaad and Bucky do the 1st and 2nd Q then bang em' in the 4th Q with Tuck! Cuse out.🍊

I know it doesn't seem like much but Rick Stroud, if you're going to campaign for someone's role to be reduced, at least do your diligence & report accurately on that person. Rachaad White is averaging 3.7 yds per carry, not 2.2 and that's without Goedeke who played Sunday and makes a huge difference in the run game. The season got off to a slow start but he did avg. 5 against Philly and then 7.2 against ATL before he got injured. He's performed well in considerably bigger games with a considerably worse o-line. Sean Tucker played great Sunday and I hope he continues to but that's one game.

If Tucker's reported 4.3 time is legit along with a 41inch vertical then he is far farrrrr and away the best athlete among the running backs and the best athlete on the team along with Zyon. Would be a crime if White is starting next week. White seems like a great guy, and the guy cares - but he needs to be split out wide exclusively

The fact they essentially sat on Tucker & the fact they wouldn’t combine Hainsey and Barton makes me think Devin Culp is really good and the coaching staff is being slow again.

Why Culp hasn't been used at all is baffling. This coaching staff has favoritism towards higher draft picks.

Exactly that’s what everyone is missing!!! Baker was clearly talking about the last season of Toms career here. Let’s not pretend of all the rumors and things Tom put the Bucs and players through. I guess winning is talking with Miami while you have one foot in with the Bucs (tampering).

So Tom Brady in his last season was playing for a championship with a team that had too many holes to make a deep playoff run. Baker is a scrappy guy who is happy for the chance to be on a winning team building towards a championship.

There's more than one approach to a QB leading their team. Basically, Tom felt the need to push the players around him, (and perhaps many of them need that). Baker "trusts" his team mates to see and follow his example. (Many people respond well to being trusted.) So either approach can work. There have been successful loud HCs, and successful quiet ones.

Look the Bucs players have immense respect for Tom and how he pushed the franchise. With all that being said, clearly he was miserable that last year and it bleed deep into the team. I will just say I had multiple people text me during the game how petty and almost childish Tom sounded during the broadcast. I’m sure he wanted to shit on Baker more but he was Bakin today 😎 “he’s had a few A+ throws lol”

I thought Tom Brady was extremely interesting and informative as the color man on the broadcast. He did seem a little uncomfortable on camera in the beginning but generally speaking I thought he was very good. And it was especially cool because he's our former quarterback.

Jalen hurts has been in a spiraling funk ever since he lost the super bowl a year and a half ago. And he and the eagles were listless and defeated from the very start. It wasn't just the Buccaneers playing well. It was the eagles just completely not even showing up until the middle of the third quarter when it was too late.

The loss had little to do with Mayfield and everything to do with line play on both sides of the ball. The continued lack of a running game on offense and the absence of pressure on the opposing QB are problems going forward. Why so few blitzes on a rookie QB?

The entire team; coaches, and players, thought they could sleep walk through this game and were looking ahead to the Philadelphia matchup. This is very disappointing for a team with Super Bowl aspirations. I hope they don't let this happen again and have the mental fortitude to be a true contender.

Realistically we don’t have much of a chance against the Lions this week in Detroit. With a decimated defense I expect the lions to draw out their possessions and grind it out with a lot of run game. Our offense won’t get many possessions to put up a lot of points. On the good side, we’ll get to play some younger guys and get more reps in our schemes so we’ll be deeper and better prepared when we’re healthy later in the season.

@admention8819
@admention8819 Месяц назад
They are not running the ball on us. I mean they will try but it won't be effective. Their strength is their physicality IMO. They go out to beat the opponent into submission. I truly believe we'll be up for the challenge and the offense will shine. Hence why I predicted 30-27 Bucs. Not a blowout.

Rick Stroud, this thing you have against Rachaad White has to stop. Our interior line play was terrible last season. Every other play he had someone in his lap before he even touched the ball and still finished 7th in all purpose yards with over 1500 but you never mention that. We don't make the playoffs last year without his contributions. On Sunday when we had it blocked right, he avg. 4-6 yards with timely runs. Bucky is a different style back and they will compliment each other well like stop being so divisive and relax bro. Rachaad will be a key factor in helping us win games. Let this ridiculous crusade go.

White had 3 straight runs late in the 4th quarter that went for a loss. That brought his average down. I'm not sure that was his fault. He was getting blown up in the backfield by a free runner every time.
