every change was for JA, they got rid of DG, they hired SL as OC because JA was comfortable with him. BV has made horrible decisions on offense since he was hired.
Seth Littrell has no creativity. Offense is awful looking. Even in the blowout win against Temple, the offense looked terrible. It just didn't show as bad due to the terrible Temple team.
Seth littral is a fraud, it's all a scam. Fire him, he is no good. I once saw him shaking his legs vigorously while answering questions. I think he is addict too. He has got no business being offensive coach at OU.

How about going using coach Reilly play book, (Old Miss)is using now...I am sure it on a computer server some where... Situational play calling and excuse was a D- for me. OC get with the program....Open up the play book and push the ball down the field...We have to have a duel threat QB. Put the ball the play makers hands...HAVE DOUBLE PACKAGES (for QB1 AND QB2)...
They need to get the 5-6 best Run blockers out there and use their talent. Lean on the run. They got Barnes, tatum, Hicks that can bruise and also Xavier Robinson here and there. They could lean on the run like 60% of the time and let the defense rest some instead of quick 3 and outs in SEC play. Also eat clock and use your Talented big Wrs and TEs in endzone area and chnage your philosophy. I think this line has some run blockers that dont do well in pass blocking if they get the right ones. Like Spencer Brown who struggles to pass block but remember he is a BIG 10 OL who was run blocking alot and did well. That's my philosophy end the fast three and outs and get jackson some easy Play action throws here and there and in the Tennessee game use play action and slants amd other throws to get him his mojo back. It doesnt hurt to try it!
Last year I thought Texas was the only game our coaches were any good at game planning and personnel decisions. This year I think Texas has the advantage. If we dont totally out talent the opponent we will probably be out coached and lose most games this year 😅
You ou plays weak non-conference games so they don’t have to prep for them but prep for the bigger games, that’s why they have beat Texas the majority of the time, and why they are unprepared against these nobody teams!!. BV now has to prep for other good teams not just 1’team Texas as in years past. Which is why Texas will beat ou.
Maybe a little superstitious but I think its the alternate uniform curse. Look back, everytime they change uniforms they play worse than expected. Too busy looking cute than playing football. Ugh they literally looked like nebraska out there. Gross
3-9 to 4-8 at best! We'll almost definitely beat Maine. Then MAYBE Tulane but doubt it and MAYBE SC but doubt it. Who else on our schedule can our defense beat by themselves? I think we need another big time (like Lebby was) OC hire and soon to round us out!
I watched that play several times. Why do the guard and tackle on that side pull and go to the backside to block nobody. Meanwhile the guy right in front of them came right down that gaping hole and blew up the play for as you mentioned a six yard loss. Like what kind of play design is that
I totally agree with you!… the offense side is in trouble and something needs to be done asap! Or else we are headed to the middle of the pack, average team in the SEC.
I definitely agree we need to get back to the fast tempo. They look sluggish and tired and Arnold doesn’t read offense very well and he plays nervous. He needs more confidence but I think when some of our wide receivers come back from injuries it will help but we need them back NOW!!! One more thing I hate the running back situation bc I think Tatum looks good and should play more!!!! I thought it was a mistake to let Walker transfer. Just frustrating
Our inept offense will cause injuries on the defense because they will have to constantly carry the team. Can't do it in the SEC. I'm tired of excuses.
Tennessee and Texas will destroy OU if this isn't fixed. How did we get to this point? BV is responsible. Arnold isn't processing what's happening on the field.
Remedy for me would be try Hawkins. Call me crazy but I would at least try it. If that don’t work I’d say maybe simplify what you’re doing or something because it’s not working. Nobody seems to know what they’re doing and even when they do they’re too often doing a poor job of it. Analyze the film, hold people accountable and make changes as necessary. Overall it does fall on litrell though he’s got to find a way to get it going. I’m not sure if he’s capable of it. There haven’t been a lot of promising signs so far

It's the o line just like it has been the last few years. I was glad we started over fresh this year with new guys and a new coordinator but not now we got worse. I have no problem with Veneables the D is stacked.
This is the new era of college football, get used to it, everybody's having problems. Other teams that had difficulties also last week and this week like LSU, Michigan, Notre Dame, and Alabama squeaked by, NIL and free agency is going to change and has changed the game.
