Great review Eli! Marj is one of my favorites from Ahmed Al Maghribi for sure. A few more from the house I recommend are Ighraa, Zeleny, Azure Royal, Ignite Oud and Amiri. Keep up the great work man!
@@barkatbaig To my nose it smells a lot like Sauvage Elixir and even has ALL the notes Sauvage Elixir has in it except for licorice. Bunch of other notes in Ighraa with a prominent pineapple note in the opening and tobacco in the dry down. Really good stuff and I highly recommend it.

Hey there! To my nose they’re definitely different. They both have fruity leather, but to my nose this is more of a bubblegum fruity sweetness with a creamy leather. Blu Oud is more of a dark/new car leather with some smoky aspects and a bit of aquatic citruses. There’s also more cypress in blu Oud making it woodier. Hope this helps!

I’ve never owned a leather fragrance. Can you tell me if it’s prominent throughout the wear - is it new car leather or old handbag?? LOL! As a female I’m not sure if this leans feminine enough for me.
I managed to test smell this at a store AGAIN yesterday and all I get is pine cleaner. It's very bizarre because I then remembered smelling it weeks ago and it oddly smelled like pine cleaner too then. What the heck is going on?
That’s so strange! I wonder if it was a bad batch or didn’t macerate. I’ve had that happen with another fragrance and it slowly smelled better 6 months later.
Marj is INVICTUS that has gone bad. Bubblegum, fruity, and something "Off" which I guess is supposed to be leather but the mix doesn't smell like leather to me. If that's what you like, go ahead. I own INVICTUS and never wear it. It smells like Tryhard.
@@commonscentsreviews For those really "BE SEEN" fragrances I've come around to Versace Eros Flame. It was really synthetic at first, but after I let it sit for about 6 months it mellowed out.
Marj is heavily inspired by imperial valley by Gissa perfumes (a signature scent of the middle east ) . Its more of a twist than an inspo. Its imperial valley where it shares the leathers and musk's with an added pear note which makes it more enjoyable and less headache inducing than imperial valley
Ignite oud is probably the best of the brand and ayah is also amazing if you love oud, smells similar to Louis Vuittons Pur Oud and that one is extremely expensive

I like Koala,Chameleon, Chipmunk, and Deer Musk, Macaque Yuzu edition. I want to get my nose on Panda and Dodo Jackfruit edition, these two are supposed to be the most mainstream of the Zoologist collection.
For Oud aswad , i heard it’s similar to Dolce & gabbana Velvet tender oud & not so oud satin mood. I’m thinking of getting a dupe of satin mood (baroque satin oud) , is it redundant then ? since you mention that it smells like oud satin mood , it’ll be dumb if i have 2 dupes of it so please do give me your thoughts. 🙏🏼
Qaed al fursan is only pineapple and nothing more. Really didn’t like it. I tried many layers combos but nothing worked. The pineapple was too strong. Unfortunately barrett fragrances don’t ship to Europe. 😢 I was searching a long time for virgin island.
I love how you included some "unloved" fragrances in there. SB Night Vision EDT is meh but the EDP is fantastic. The Dreamer is not for everyone and it's quirky but I love it. Wearing Luna Rossa Black today and was wearing Althaïr earlier last week. Love powdery vanilla fragrances (not sweet ones, more dry ones).
