I love that the devs used Beta Models for the “Remains” of these colossi. It’s the most apparent with their eyes. I’m the beta, they just had spiral medallions for eyes. The PS2 version literally used the Beta Model for Quadratus’ remains. It’s quite different from the final version. Look it up, it was terrifying asf, because the beta model was a lot more uncanny than the release version. It’s interesting how Malus doesn’t have a “remains” model. I wonder how they could have done it. Maybe cover it in mounds of small hills sprouting from the various crevices of his body, like stalagmites.
I've never seen these in such high quality before, is this from the arcade version? If I can remember, Kraken and Valgas have endings but I have no knowledge of the arcade versions. Rouge is my first waifu crush when I was a kid, she's still my number 1. I couldn't remember why Wang Tang got the gold teeth but i find it really funny now, during Valgas's stage a pair of gold dentures were laying around. Jack's ending scared the crap out of me, I beat it when it was dark, no lights, hearing that scary soundtrack while he's talking is so freaky hearing for the first time, and the last shot with the women walking and you see his shadow as he begins laughing scarred me for life. I was not expecting his ending to be so scary when I was like 6 years old. I really hope this comes back, I miss this so much and its such a crime that this is only on 2 platforms. This needs to be on everything for everyone to know what they are missing out on.
I was intrigue at the end credits of the game when grave sites of the colossi are shown. I decided to make a more in depth video of each colossi grave site. I'm happy to know on the comments that a lot of viewer's are enjoying the video.
I'm sorry to hear that. I would take screen shots of the correct puzzle solutions. I remember doing the full puzzle solution in about a minute or so. I hope that helps 👍
That would be epic. I too hope we get a sequel some day. Shadow of the Colossus is one of the most classic and original games since the beginning of 3D gaming.
It's kinda sad to see that their once a majesty creature roaming the Forbidden Land, now it's only just a pile of dirt/sand and some stone structure of their bodies
The Malus grave site is not available. The only available view of the Malus grave site is as part of the game story when Wander gets transported back to the temple and gets possessed by Dormin.
I cant think of any Samurai, whether its gaming anime manga or comics, who wields a Katana so Fluid and authentic as Heishiro Mitsurugi He wields and uses a Katana so Fluid and masterful Thats why hes my favorite in the Soulcalibur games
its so weird to look at them after their death because it looks like eons have passed since their deaths and their remains looks like destroyed structures like houses and buildings. if wasnt for agro not dying and the masked guy i'd think actual ages have passed after we killed each colossus
I agree, the Colossi are ancient beings which make them look really old, especially when they are defeated. I do believe that time passes different in that curse land.
I always figured that the power that animated them(Dormin’s soul) or the power that sealed it in, made time’s aging slow to almost a crawl while the colossi lived. Then when Wanda kills them, all that time they existed for suddenly caught up. Or perhaps they started degrading into their natural components.
Hands down one of the greatest fighting game franchises ever made. Love Soul Calibur, every one of em Soul Edge Soulcalibur 1 Soulcalibur 2 - imo the Best one out of all the Soul games Soulcalibur 3 Soulcalibur 4 Soulcalibur 5 - I didn't like 5 all that much Soulcalibur 6 My favorite character is Mitsurugi because Hes a Samurai
I agree, the Soul Calibur series is epic and the game play is top-notch. Soul Calibur for Dreamcast did win game of the year back in 1999. My favorite character is also Mitsurugi because he's cool as hell.
@lnfin_games Soulcalibur 1 (1998 Dreamcast) won a heck load of Game Of The Year awards and is ranked number 4 on Metacritic for having one of the highest ratings in gaming history Metacritic gave it 98+/100 & Gamerankings gave it 97% One of the greatest fighting games ever made and One of Dreamcasts best title games
