‘Aight, dude’s talked about Bluey, Fnaf, Avatar, and the Amazing Digital Circus. Place your bets on how long it’ll be before we see a Poppy Playtime video.
I have not seen Bluey myself, but I'm aware of the show! Not too long ago, did anyone see the Zillow commercial that had Bluey, aaaand Ryan Reynolds in it? I kinda thought that a moving plot would come down the pipeline at some point after seeing it! Funnily enough, we were in an apartment after moving from a house we'd been in since I was in Kindergarten, for a couple years. We FINALLY found a place within our overall criteria- a few things missing here and there, but still great nonetheless! Whenever I'd get ancy/have a bad night, Mom'd just tell me to wait, that it wasn't permanent We HAD to move the first time, and the housing market wasn't buyer friendly, so we had to wait after selling. Mom found this and jumped at it. After quite a few houses that we thought were ours fell through, I had kinda resigned myself to living in that apartment. I still couldn't/can't believe it's real! Ha ha, yea, my Mom's one of those people who don't watch animated things just because cartoon=for kids... (She also doesn't like that I still like Pokémon, and still collect "stuffed animals", but that's another thing!) I have been on the fence about some "kids" cartoons. Like I still wanna check out Lion Guard, despite it also being a Disney Channel show aimed at little kids! (Late 20's btw, so definitely "adult" by most people's standards! 😅) Also, look at all the older folk who love MLP FIM, aimed at kids sure, but has quite a substantial adult following!
This episode really, genuinely, hurt for me to watch. When I was a kid, my family moved-oftentimes literally across our continent-every two years, because of my dad’s job. When I saw that they were moving I felt so sick to my stomach, it was like re living being in that position myself. At the end of the episode, when they don’t have to move, I cried so hard I almost dry heaved. I felt so relieved for bluey and bingo, and so, so jealous. Bluey just has this amazing thing going where they tackle such real issues in such a real way it leaves you breathless, without sacrificing their kid-friendly nature.
I have 2 issues woth this episode, but otherwise, brilliantly done. They should have moved. The show has a hard time avoiding consequences and basically saying "you know your sad at not getting what you want? Just kidding! You can have it!". By not moving, the lesson is that things dont have to change. The post episode scene with adult bluey shows the family stays there for ever, which is not an effectove way of dealing with change. I lost so much respect when Chili said Bandit was making a mistake. And Brandy is pregnant???? Hands down not okay. You dont get to introduce the complex relationships and feelings that Brandy has because she cant have a kid and teach the lesson that thats how the world works sometimes, then make her pregnant. I feel insulted when creatora do this - give you this deep sense of loss and even some peace with that, only to say "just kidding!"
I’ve head of but never watched Bluey, but this really makes me want to. I moved from my childhood home when I was around Bluey’s age and what I wouldn’t have given to have been able to stay in that home (I miss it so much). I’m tearing up a little now 🥲
DUDE! I literally can't descibe how much I love this show. There are at least 12 episodes that made me tear up a bit. I also didn't catch that part with the butterfly in the car! The show is sooooo well put together. The creator deserves the nobel prize or something ToT Edit: I also like how in that show they keep repeating, "we'll see" because they know kids aren't gonna get it the first time haha
i like bendy , the first game was better in my opinion do to the admosfire , and music , the delling of it , but i like the new game also cuz it revives the series , more gameplay then admosfire but its still ok
“Is Lila coming with us?” OMG THIS LINE- As soon as Bingo realised what moving meant, the first thing she asks is if her best friend is coming too. IM NOT CRYING, YOU’RE CRYING 😭
You can tell that Chili and Bandit left Bingo out of the loop because they wouldn’t know how to explain it to her. Bluey’s old enough and self aware enough, but Bingo? Nah.
Ok guy, be honest with me. Do I need to watch this show? And also do I need to watch Gumball? I'm 21, but enjoy shows like Steven Universe, Adventure Time, Gravity Falls, and... Regular Show, idk if that one counts or not lol I feel like it's more mature but figure I'd mention it anyway
I liked the episode but I wouldn’t call it the best episode of Bluey or of Childs tv 😅. I felt it was too idealistic. I mean that’s not bad for a kid show. But I felt that was what made bluey different. The aunt who couldn’t have babies and tracked people that you have to lean to live with things like that? Gone, now she is pregnant so it didn’t matter in the end. Sometimes families have to take difficult decisions for the good of all? Gone. They won’t change house. Real life just doesn’t work out that well. But I get it’s a kids show 😅 , but nothing special
I new they would not move because of Lila if you don’t understand she’s bingos friend and in that episode it shows the future of bingo and Lila and they went to college and became best friends that shows bingo would stay with Lila so they would not move
This is very nice but it feels like no big change actually occurring because it was magically resolved kinda undercuts any "change isn't bad you'll be okay" type of message but it could just be you presenting the plot poorly instead of an actual poor construction Also *what the fuck happened to the place they were going to move to? Did they really just empty their house without another living arrangement already reserved and locked in?* ...and what about his job? Did Bandit really sell and empty his house before the job was confirmed? Was he still at his previous job the day he was driving away from his empty and at the time presumed sold house? Its kinda weird that this very much would have been a major decision discussed by both parents and the mom never communicated she didn't want to leave or they had both already decided it was fine then suddenly decided it wasn't worth it just because a kid too young to understand moving was sad Although as i said it could just be you presenting the media poorly so it seems that way I would say this has actually been the standard for good children's content for many years but over the years more people starting thinking of children's content as mindless shapes and colors instead of actually good stories with lessons and plot so on that front its a bit disingenuous to consider Bluey the best kids show ever just because it's actually good when lots of others fall below standards
