My name is Shafiq (that's where the Fiq comes from) and I decided to join RU-vid to share my life experiences. I've always been able to interact with new people at school, work, parties, or other places and thought to myself " Why not on RU-vid?" This channel is mainly geared towards sneakers because that's a very big hobby of mine but the "N" in my channel's name stands for my middle name (Nai'l) as well as so much more. I eat out frequently, play games, watch sports, am active, try challenges, and I'm into fashion as well as other things so why not tie that into sneakers as well?
I've been told plenty of times by individuals that they've tried something that they weren't use to because I suggested it, made it funny, or led by example... So I want to do that with you! The embroidered b doodles are pretty dope n all the lace options that come with it is a great touch. might have something to do with inclusivity, like there are more options outside the traditional binary. Great review 🔥
Bro.. I purchased the Mystic Reds and the next day copped these as well. Gotta get the set, right? $120 on Poizon and $137 after taxes and fees. Now I just gotta play the waiting game. Keep up the great content!
@@FiqNSneaks both of my pairs arrived earlier today. After getting both in hand, I am leaning towards the Mystic Reds more but not by much, it was very close. I think the fact that I could lace swap with the Emerald Rise teal laces was the deciding factor. I can’t wait to wear them around town, especially with fall just around the corner.
Got these super late.. just purchased on GOAT for $108 after all the taxes and fees it’s $132 for a size 10. I was worried it might be a lil too close to my Burnt Sunrise SB’s but watching these reviews helped sway my decision to cop, otherwise I probably wouldn’t have gone for this particular colorway. So thank you. 🙏🏽 I’ll probably cop the Emerald Rise pair soon as well
@@FiqNSneaks love em! Swapped the laces with the teal ones from the Emerald Rise and they’re fire. I think there are quite a few different colors that would work with it also. You’re right, they’re not easily mistaken for the Burnt Sunrise SB’s.
@@FiqNSneaks All the alternate laces are cool, but I like the ones that were on the shoe's, that color gives the shoe more of a fall weather look😎for upcoming season.
Gave me a great, in detail look at the shoe and the story sold me. Will add these to the collection hopefully sometime in the near future. If I go a half size up, would it allow me a little wiggle room while still fitting properly? Thanks again for the video man!
@@FiqNSneaks all good. I actually went with the Core Grey pair of the 993. New Balance is so fire in the classic grey. I'm doing collabs with the other silhouettes like the 990v4. Check out the Joe Freshgoods 1998 Pack Outro. Beautiful!
