Corona virus may be a winter virus, but based on personal experience I believe this particular strain the weather/temperature has very little bearing on the transmission. I live and work in a healthcare facility in the sunshine state of Florida and our facility didn’t have a documented Covid case until June, then an outbreak in mid August, our hottest season and the AC doesn’t operate effectively in keeping all areas cool, it’s only cool on the night shift.
