Old but I had to use this walkthrough today. The SSL option instead of copy/paste there is an option to update by "Domain". Certificate Source: Domain. That allows you to select the host domain. The end result should be the same you can verify it after.
This is stupid the video is assuming the end user is the server host. My server, huh. Oh, yeah my origin webserver failed to respond to my Cloudflare website guys... Darn! better luck next time. THE PEOPLE WATCHING YOUR VIDEO ARE END USERS (E.G. Clients that don't know crap about server hosting and just wandering why they can't connect to server they are trying to connect to with the intimidating looking error! ) Those clients are watching their friends connecting to it on the interenet and like well sever and webssite are up so why can't I connect... hmmm
Hey, when I try to click update file, thye it says something went wrong, change can not be saved, I need to manually fix and upload the file over FTP. Please help with this, thank you so much.
But you still have to enter ALL four Nameservers at the registrar? If you had 20 servers you would need to enter 40 nameservers at the registrar? IS there a way to have 2 NS, and move the sites within a pool of 20 servers? Without having to change the nameservers at the registrar? I am looking for a solution where I ask clients to point their domain NS to us, but we manage where they are hosted at will.
Glad you brought this up! Adding to the interface (like right now) but your SPF should be set to: v=spf1 +a +mx include:_spf.namehero.net include:_spf.heroicmail.com ~all -- we're working on integrating DKIM to the interface, for now our team can help you setup (just log a ticket and they can do it for you / show you where it is in the GUI).
The last line is where they get us all these scammers. TOS or AUP gets nothing, and they win with your cash and no website at the end @ 1:12 host from home if you already paying for internet
I think it would have been worth telling the viewers about the Pro Elements plugin that makes most of the Pro elements of Elementor available (a few proprietary ideas not coverable on the GNU Licensing are still not available, but the vast majority are). This is free, legal, and fully featured, auto-updating, etc.
Elementor is bloated trash. If you need a pixel perfect website and aren't a seasoned developer, go for it, as it does give you more than Gutenberg. But enjoy being locked into a suite of plugins, including the free version, the paid version, and every other "Elementor-compatible" plugin you'll be required to use any time you want to extend your website. Enjoy plugin updates multiple times per week, sometimes with breaking changes. Enjoy a warning that the updates to Elementor free haven't been tested for compatibility with the updates to Elementor Pro, even though they have the same author. Gutenberg is limited, but it's first-party (part of WordPress Core). No extra plugins, no breaking changes, no constant updates, no reaching for plugins when you want to further extend your website. If you're a developer who knows what you're doing, you can build intricate, pixel-perfect, fully custom websites using Gutenberg. If you're not a developer, and your developer is using Elementor, be suspicious that they have no idea what they're doing.
Gutenberg is easily 5 years behind Elementor. The functionality of Gutenberg is so limited it's beyond frustrating. I've tried so hard with Gutenberg and have only recently moved to Elementor, but I so wish I'd moved sooner.
Gutenberg has still rough edges (example menu and mobile tools) but with the version 6.5, it is going more and more usable. You can use GenerateBlocks, Kadence, MaxiBlocks, Greenshift, Spectra... if you want to go further. One thing to note, Maxiblocks is totally free, this is a good choice if you want to do a lot of things with Gutenberg.
You should consider remaking this video. As a NameHero customer, I feel frustrated with all of the outdated blog posts and videos. This video moved extremely fast without adequately explaining everything going on. The video doesn't even show the actual CDN setup process, so I have no clue when exactly that got done. Guess I'm on my own and hoping that I don't break my site.
