Every nation has its own facades. Others finds faults in others for having done nothing,and also for doing something. Zimbabwe was a volcano waiting to spew hot red lava from colonialism,racism,equality of residential areas , Belvedere (Indians),St Martin's, Arcadia (coloureds), Milton Park Portuguese,Italians,Danish , Europeans, Newlands,Chisipiti,Borrowdale,GlenLorne,Kamfinsa,Greendale,Mt Pleasant British, Europeans. Chitungwiza,Mabuku Tafara ,Mufakose,Mbare ,Fio,Kambuzuma Blacks. So what was good and to who. Blacks always ate crumbs falling from high tables No black farmer had yet received a water right permit. White policemen were called Majoni while blacks were called mabhurakwacha. Whites were still living God's.And blacks were apologetic for fighting for equal pay. They was time race could not matter but the system still put the white men ahead of all the best ,colonial status quo had not changed. As the nation transforms from minority rule and privileges and repossession of land the package came with good and evils from black administration. Colonialism was replaced with suppression and corruption. The whites feared the power of the blacks on democracy and running the economy. The blacks don't fear or respect their own ,they became the new colonialist. Invasions are easy to deal with as opposed to civil war. Current Zimbabwean governance system used by Zanupf is an abstract of slavery, colonialism,democracy,communism ,socialism and out right dictatorship. But surprisingly Zimbabwe is now owned by Zimbabweans when it comes to land,but they continue to dislodge each other as if it's a civil war. Racial,layer is no longer an issue in Zimbabwe but corruption and oppression. Also foreign interference is still extremely active as on Zidera ,and sanctions. But above all Zimbabwe is not among the list of top ten poorest nations in Africa as some of its neighbours.

I was an Australian volunteer in Mozambique 1994 - 1996: my first of 3 visits to Zimbabwe was in mid-1995. In total, spent 3 months in Zim over 3 visits. What a magnificent country. What a magnificent people. What I found most sensational was the pride that Zimbabweans had in their country - and the fact that it worked. What that piece of work Mugabe did to such a great country was criminal. I hope Zim comes back bigger and brighter than ever.
