Yeah the meta has changed since I made this so I think adding another energy, some night stretchers, and maybe a prime catcher might be the move 🤔 idk yet I’ll have to test some things out. But for now I did take out an energy switch and added a psychic energy
I still haven’t figured out the hype on this deck. I’ve been playing Charizard and have farmed this deck every time I have played it. Of course, I have checked for this deck where I am able to accelerate an energy and put down an energy without having to rely on the ability to accelerate energy. Mela is this decks worst counter.
@@level3xfactorez for applin. I have been meeting quad thorns which became very popular after that worlds win. Free wins for me haha. Doesnt really struggle against the meta decks also. Can push drago to at least prizes
I think it's better to have than not yk for example if you ever go second, I think the move is to try and set up two Iron Thorns(active and bench) and attach an energy and turbo energizer and then use it
Raging bolt is definitely worrisome but good thing iron thorns shuts off their ogerpons, fezindipiti, and squawkabilly, so stalling them from quickly setting up attacks is good (and be weary of canceling colognes and flutter manes) And if they put any damage that doesn’t knock you out, using a penny can heal it and if knocked out the legacy energy will make them have to go through all four iron thorns. And for offense each of their EX’s are two shots (if they have a bravery charm use the vacuum) and if they retreat before the knock out use a boss’s orders The match up can be tricky but it is definitely winnable
I do not understand understand why you did not use the iono at 7:08 start with you would’ve seen more cards and other than that you got rid of cards you could’ve used and I would’ve saved that to discard cards you wanted to discard. I understand wanting to keep the boss, but think you would’ve got more value out of the other. And unfortunately, you started with the worst one to start with. 17:42 I would’ve used the prime catcher to get him out of the active. a shot. It would’ve caused him an energy to have moved.
Against the Charizard/pult and Garde match up it can come in handy, especially if you can set up the Regidrago vstar quickly and discard a Dragapult. and it's also good to put that 1 damage on the teal mask ogerpons.

@@robatlas31 a lot of people don’t like control, some people want it banned. But it’s one of the more challenging decks to play. You’ve got to think three or four turns ahead. You’ve got to play it quite a bit to understand how to play the decks you’re playing against and know their weaknesses.
14:25 should you have iono'd them force them to draw 2 more cards and get that deck out pressure on? Plus a chance for you to draw your boss for following turn
@@robatlas31 haha yeah I thought you already saw the phantom dive 4 prize play because you switched out the bolt the turn before, needed to promote the Sandy or the bolt with less HP
I really like this. 👍 Personally, though, I think the card breakdowns are too short. Just a bit too rapid IMO. Also it would be cool if you add a blurb (1-2 sentences why you like this deck, or what its niche is) that would help explain why I should listen and maybe even click your video link. Just my 2 cents. 🙂
I thought it was long personally 😅haha Yeah trying to explain the entire deck and how it works is a bit hard to do in just a minute(the max time a short can be) while showing the deck list (unless I just skip the deck list part)
@@robatlas31 Ah yeah, good point. I've seen some creators kind of group cards when they show them, like "X Iono and Y Professor's Research for draw support." That type of thing. Maybe that helps?
Good video, in the chien pao match-up I think it wold have been better to knock out the last frigibax when you had the boss in hand. Tha almost god ugly when they were able to get baxcalibur the following turn. Either way, great video!
yeah I did boss the first Baxcalibur but didn't have a way to switch that last frigibax to the active, but I did luck out with that Neo Upper Energy though in the end🤘
For competitive right now I'd say Garde, even though I've never played it haha but playing against it so much I can say it is the biggest challenge (no matter what deck you're using)
I only ever opend up 2 crown zenith etbs and my gf pulled gold gartina both times cause we split packs when we opend i traded it to my little cousin cause i had 2 and he wanted it and ploped out his binder and said pick anything ill trade you so at the time i looked at the value and picked out 3 cards he had that equaled the same got the same glaceon you pulled in the vidio the rykou from crown zenith and the miriam
How do you like the list? Would you make any changes to it? Also I've seen the flip side recently - Charizard with dragapult thrown in. What do you think of that?
i've been thinking about adding Lance and or hyper aroma maybe, but i'll still have to test them out. and for the Charizards with 1 Dragapult idk it could work but there are a lot of grass pokemon now that can one shot Charizard now, and even the Garde deck that can munkidori 30 damage and then ko with the drifloon
I was just thinking of a build just like this and wanted to see if anyone else was running Blissey ex with the mundkidori. I want finish building out this deck for sure!
Having munkidori with blissey is so fun (just watch out for fighting Pokémon) I’m also thinking of trying out Blissey/Teal mask Ogerpon/and Toedscruel together 🤔
