Cars now days can handle the higher speeds easily. Smart suspension and handling dynamics even in all types of cars. Car manufacturers have done a great job. The roadways are what's holding back fast, safe, and efficient transportation compared to other countries. American public (Go Texas) is ready to move faster but the cities have been slow at updating and sometimes careless at maintaining the roadways. If you live in the great Texas triangle of San Antonio, DFW, and Houston this is very common. Get with it America!
Why aren’t news stations equally as upset about democrat DA’s allowing criminals out without bail or such low bail????? What does that “say” about “our justice system “?????
The main reason these are getting more common is the courts are way too soft on these felons, and they get out on bond and do much worse shit. And the police have to deal with it.
First be legal. If you cannot take one day off (and you know well in advance when voting day is) to take one day and go vote, you should not be registered to vote.
They need to also focus on people playing on their phones as well.. not uncommon to look left or right to see them on the phone instead of focusing on driving.
We always pick on Swift and other training companies how bad their drivers are, but we need to start pointing out how bad FedEx drivers are... they are the absolute worst 😢 If this country really care about safety, they would make changes on how they hand out CDL to any and everyone 😢
1:45 ....people who are going under the speed limit are also a danger to everyone.. they create aggressive drivers. they create unnecessary lane changes. this ain't about safety. this is about $$$
Good. And do something about the moronic motorcycle riders who think it's okay for them to go a hundred plus miles an hour zipping through traffic. And it should be anything over 10 miles over the posted speed limit is a ticket and 15 to 20 miles over should be a felony with points on your license.
A cop has pulled a man over for going 150 in a 60. Guy had a nice sports car and wanted to test it out, then tried to shake the cop when he saw he was being pulled over. As a lover of old sports cars, and being tired, the cop gave him an ultimatum. "Look, it's the end of my shift. I'm ready to go home. I've completely gone through one book of tickets already today. If you can give me one good reason for why the hell you tried to run from me, I'll let you go scott free." The man pauses hearing this, and looks ahead, his face stuck as if staring at some terrible thing far away. "Last week my wife ran off with a cop. I thought you were trying to return her." The cop hands the man his license and says "Have a good day sir, try to slow down from now on."
That is why the interstates were built to go fast. As soon as they were finished everyone was told to drive 55mph because we were going to run out of oil and gas. In heavy traffic yes slow down drive safe keep a distance between you and other vehicles. Buy when there is light traffic you should be allowed to drive as fast as you want on the interstate.
WHY would anyone want SLOWER traffic? Honestly I wish we had driver testing every 2 years and get real of the real problems (not signalling, camping in the left lane, badly timed traffic lights, poorly designed roads, work trucks stopping in lanes of traffic, terrible signage, etc, etc). The whole point of modern road systems was to help traffic MOVE.
