Please don't feed rainbow lorikeets bread and seeds as they are nectar eaters, unable to digest the seeds and wheat properly. The seeds may damage their delicate brush-like tongues end up with starvation.
@@sevefishing2188 Good on you mate. Meanwhile we found out fresh fruit such as diced grapes, apples, and pears attract them too. However, citrus fruit and avocados are poisonous to these birds.
@@neilsmith1688 about thirty kms away at Nelson bay they have been bagging out regularly on them last few months. So we can only hope they come on the bit soon.
Yeah, there few n far between. I was fishing for 4 hrs to get that. I had a couple of bumps n the flatty. Water temperature has gone down a bit n that will switch them off.
@@neilsmith1688 yeah, went down this morning fishing and all I got was a few undersize bream, flathead and tailor. The tailor are still in Newcastle Harbour. But not in big numbers and no size to them. Bait: salted down pilly cubes.
anywhere there is structure. Wharf’s, marinas, Breakwalls n deep holes in harbours, rivers n creeks. Early in the mornings n late in the afternoons into the night are best. Any tide as long as the water is moving. Live bait is the best. But in saying that, l catch them on salted down gang pillies. Hope this was a help to you. Tight lines 😊🤙
One of the fisherman l was talking to up there said they were getting kilo Taylor there early on in the morning n bonito. Plus u wouldn’t know what’s underneath them.🤔
