Hi! Welcome to Opal & MINT! Our names are Ashley and Kylie. We are sisters that are 16 years apart. Come along with us on our art journey. We love watercolors, digital art, art markers, and more. We love to test out art supplies and grow and learn alongside you. I hope you stick around and grow with us.
These are beautiful, Ashley! You do such nice work. I missed some of your videos but plan to catch up. I just started an online watercolor class so I'm excited to try some of these flowers!
Thanks for the memory boost. I purchased Kindle version of this book a couple years ago and forgot about it until you gave us the Amazon link. 😘 The sketch is also appreciated. Beautiful way to end the month. It will be hard to top all of this.
Gorgeous! Love this background technique. Really appreciate you showing the sketched circles. My round flowers might get better if I try that in future. Thanks for the month of flowers. Bless you two darling sisters 🩷
Check the pinned comment. My sketch is there that you can download, and the photos that I printed out as my reference. 🙂 Lol, btw Lavish Grace Photography is me too! I didn't realize that I was logged into that account when I commented.
Thank you so much. I was on my break earlier and saw you released the video. I will watch it asap. I've watched all in this series and want to thank you all the time you put into them. Your flowers are beautiful ❤

I can see why this one is you favorite, they are beautiful!!! I'm glad you did pick your favorite flower to paint at the end you deserve it after sharing with us so may beautiful flowers . 🤩just an idea you can leave the sketch of the peony on screen for a bit or suggest to pause the video for people to take a screenshot. They can print it out at home or trace it from their phone/tablet/ computer screen 🤔( without pressing too hard on the screen!! PLEASE!!!) they can use a transparent bag or tracing paper with a sharpie for the bag or pencil/water soluble marker like crayola for the tracing paper and a sheet of regular paper covered with pencil on one side (pencil covered side touching the watercolor paper not the bag/tracing paper)so they can transfer the peony to watercolor paper without erasing to much and damaging the sizing of the paper. 🤔✨✨ countdown-1 🤗 yay!!!!!🎉🎉🎉✨✨✨🎆🎆🎇🎆
Beautiful! I love ❤️ the colors you chose. I chose the colors in the book and not as nice as the ones you choose. Of course I'm painting with Meiliang paints and your ueing Holbine colors makes a difference. Your paints the pedals look light and fluffy my paints more chalky look. I thought these pans would be better but no. Oh well go back to my Daniel Smith paints 🎨. Lololol. This was fun though! I looked forward to painting with you everyday. Last day tomorrow 😢. I like the soapy-ness over the chalky-ness of other cheap paint. I teach watercolor to those who don't and use these. I prefer better but they work to spur an interest.
I wanted to do this kind of challenges, i admire that u already put actions and just doing it. I got inspired!! 😊 so therapeutic. Good luck with your channel growth!
So much fun. I filled the page again and included one that faces to the side. I don’t want this month to end! But I know you will have more fun videos…glad I found your channel.
All of the flowers in this series are beautiful but this one is my favorite 🥰you did great representing it in a loose style. We autocritisize ourselves more than others would ever do. I loveeee white flowers specially lilies, lotuses, peonies and gardenias. My grandmother loved them and it stuck with me. 🙂Countdown-2 OMG!!! So close🤗
@@artstate7926 thank you! And yes, we are definitely harder on ourselves sometimes than we should be. Tomorrow's video is probably my favorite 😊 lol, I'm still working on the final day. 🤞 I'm hoping it comes together.
