Used to try and stick this on the dash of my '67 Cutlass when I was in high school. Left lots of divots on the pseudo padded plastic, which my father always gave me a hard time over. If I had only had a kit, the inspiration may have led me to the place where you are.... and excellent drummer! Thanks for the time machine.
Thank you for this great rendition of Roundabout, and as another user mentioned specially the bridge sounds very clean. The rhythm gets kind of confusing there with the use of milk bottles? by Bruford but you keep it going steady with the snare and the cymbal, real nice!
I am trying to do what you are doing. I have started a project called the "Drums Only Project" recording drummers from Vancouver Canada. I ran a store called Drums Only and helped create the Ayotte Custom drum line.
You make it look easier than most covers with drummers half your age. I loved this song in H.S. and to this very day, it rings deep in my soul. Thanks for sharing.
