Hi, I’m a musician, teacher, actor and theater director. I have played in many bands over the years. I’ve recently grown to love the ukulele. I have a band called The Ukuholicks. Check us out on Facebook: Ukuholicks.
Very interesting, thanks! I understand from the Kmise advertisement that you can drop the 5th string off the side like 5-string banjo players did to convert to a Plectrum banjo for jazz. Would it be viable to swap the G&g over, to play in Low G 4-string with a Hi-G option when you wanted to play banjo-style? :-)
@@SURFNRZ Excellent, thanks. What about drilling 3 new holes in the bridge (scary) to give 5 equally-spaced strings and cutting new nut and bridge slots for them? That could be a 'clawhammer uke' or a scaled down version of Jacob Collier's 5 string Taylor guitar or Keith Richard's 5 string Open G Telecaster, but Open C. :-)
I met a girl who sang the blues... I went looking for uke lessons and ended up here. Dude, you really brought this song to life! Truly inspiring. Once you got to that last verse, that's when you really got my attention. And the uke sounds amazing. Perfect blend with your vocals. Looking forward to learning this classic tune. Thanks for putting out some fantastic music, my friend. Peace ✌️🤠🎶
Oh my goodness, you two. This was amazing! Your voices are terrific together. I'm not your boss, of course, and you can make your own choices, but GIVE US MORE COLLABORATIONS! I'd especially love to hear Missy let it fly (she gave us hints at the end here). Loved it! Thank you both!
