MJ29MF is the same weight as other lightweight fabrics we've been using; the main difference is better air porosity after ageing, according to our tests. The Calypso 2 is already one of the smallest packing wings in its class ;-)
Will upcoming lightweight Gin gliders be moving to MJ29 vs SkyTex27? Will current lightweight Gin gliders be updated to the new material? I was hoping the Camino2 would be in the MJ29...
Sadly the protector is not the most ideal. Everything else as we dreamed of. Please make foam protector option for better impact absorbtion. Congrats for the impressive development and final result.
Airbag is not so strong. I had to use it on my second landing and it tore on the right side, the fabric is too thin and won't support a 70kg load. It is not particularly suitable for beginners, who may need to use it more often, more that one time. The only good thing is that is very light weigh. In nice conditions is very good for use.
