Hello RPG fans and welcome to The Kingdom! I like to play RPGs the way they aren't meant to be played. Challenge runs and challenge run related content. Recently got the 2024 3L Manual Premium Supra, and I will be walking you all through the process on what Im going to do to it.

way to Doomtrain almost all bosses, Doomtrain the MVP and its 3 followers (I didn't know that Saber/Giant gloves and temper could STACK, it'll help my replays of the game, especially IF I wanna do a progressive Ninja run, aka start w/ thief THEN prom ASAP🤣🤣🤣)
I would like to add that bacchus can't learn the critical hit battle skill. You can give his weapon "increased critical hit chance" with synthesis. The only characters that can learn critical hit are edge, reimi, meracle, and arumat. This does seem like an interesting idea for a challenge run and I might try it myself one of these days.
1. great vid, as a avid 12 lover i feel u represented every aspect of the game great 2. there are enouth restrictions to make the run challenging and a lot of em can be very engaging and fun to do even multiple times while trying different approaches 3. if the vanilla game is not challenging enouth, we have 2 amazing randomizers for the game that can be found on nexus mods, that can change the view of certain things or even modefy stats etc in a way that the game becomes absolutely unfair and low key unbeatable (example, boss that got boosted to 500k HP starting to throw balance motes after reaching Crit HP, whos damage cant be lowered or negated for 300k+ dmg AoE, that could still be defeated by abusing ranged weapons in order to position the party in a way that never more then 1 person is hit by it at a time)
Wait - are any of the caves linear? ;) Great video, I just finished Ff1 for the first time ever (have no clue about story or gameplay so very exciting) and was instantly curious for single class playthroughs and monk was the one I was most keen. Moving onto ff2 now. Once again great video!
Great video, good quality on all fronts! The reason I found your run was because I was nerd raging on the combat system myself, being annoyed with the same things you were along with a general discontent with how materia was implemented compared to in remake. No matter what setup of materia I had, it always felt as if I was missing something that would allow me to properly engage with the mechanics of the bosses. Whenever I was unable to utilize the right magic to pressure a boss or stun them or w/e, my fights resembled yours in a lot of ways (albeit more sustainable healing and higher damage/defense). Two points I haven't seen mentioned: 1: I wondered if it was a viable option to use accessories to get access to certain magic spells or if this was against the spirit of the challenge. 2: In the fight with Sephiroth, I always took out the wing using magic as it seemed immune to physical damage. Anyways! Liked & subscribed, I look forward to seeing more interesting content from you! P.S.: For what it's worth, I find you have a pleasurable voice to listen too. <3 Have a nice day.
I’ve finished the video! I liked the combat of this game. I know when I started the game I preferred the remakes but it was just little things that were different I thought. But then again this is all I’ve been playing for the past month so idk. I kinda forgot what it was that I liked more/ found different about the combat lol
@@azuremistkingdom Ha! It’s funny you say that cuz I’ve Sl1’d all the souls games and have planned on using my Sl1 for the new Elden ring dlc, my son tells me it’s a bad idea given the difficulty of other souls games DLCs.. but we’ll see! Also, makes it even more impressive being your first run!
I really feel like the pixel remaster changed just enough small things to make it a game that new players can honestly enjoy. Being able to buy Ethers so cheaply makes literally any party viable, which is rad
You should try and 100% Final Fantasy 1 Dawn of Souls with 1 Red Wizard, that way you can get Exit and get the Masamune and Exit out, then you can get the Ultima Weapon after breathing Death gaze (or whatever its name is on floor 40 of the final optional dungeon), then Haste and Temper up and crush Chaos! You don't have Curaja even as a Red Wizard, but Curaga and some grinding on the Dragon Zombies in the Castle of Ordeals for Megalixirs will help out tremendously for Chaos, not really the boss in floor 40 of the final optional dungeon since once you Blink up 2 times, you can heal up and cast either Protect or Protera a bunch, and then he goes from dealing 700+ damage, to like less than 50 damage, and you have such good magic defense, that it won't really land Dispel and instant death magic on you to one shot you, especially when you're at lv99.
I bought this a while ago, but haven't gotten to it yet. Hoping it'll go out of early access while I'm busy with other games in the backlog. Looks really cool though!
Without spoiling anything, there MAY be a game changing way to beat neo warden. There are stuffs involving quintar (I won't delve further than this) that can benefit this run. Either way, that was a good run you did there. There are definitely TOO few people covering this gem, it's damning.
Yep, i can confidently say that you are underleveld, my recomended level for this part is 37-40 but grinding that can take a while specially for level 38, 39 and 40 But overall, great video! I had the same idea but i dont think i can apply it better then you did XD Take my like and sub
I Thinking about playing with a team of 3 Mages. Red Mage White Mage Black Mage 2nd Black Mage due to low HP and Defense, gets k.oed on purpose by putting in on the top, If i remember right, 2 characters in the top, will be aimed at more, while, 3 slot gets targeted less , while 4 slot bottom gets targeted far less. Not sure if that's a thing in the Pixel ReMastered.
I couldn't find the info at 1st, found it , apparently , enemies with single attacks or spells Top character gets targeted 50% of the time Top-bottom gets targeted 25% of the time The lower 2 gets targeted 12.5% of the time. I didn't noticed so no idea lol.
@@azuremistkingdom hours, way back in like 0.4 early access, been slowly picking away at all the content since then. I think there is an unlockable roguelike mode, as opposed to the roguelite mode you normally play, in the game but it could have also just been a special event for promotional purposes. It'd be weird if they didnt put that mode in the game for everyone though.
Good review, love the game so far. Was already impressed with its exploration, then when I dropped into an area below the prison (which was *already* deep below the hub town) I really understood just how crazy it was. I have been trying multiple runs with different randomization options. They almost all provide fun combos, but the more random you make things the more other options may get worse. The starting of the game becomes a lot more swingy too, both in terms of challenge and fun. I could write a whole damn essay on the them, but instead I'll just say that many options need their own "Half" versions and extra subdivisions, and whatever makes changes to classes need to be able to take their stats into account. Because (at least on the Switch) its way too easy to get incoherent results. Which is a kind of Fun sure but I feel there is an unfilled gap between that and Default.
*Slams head through wall.* DID SOMEONE SAY ZODIAC AGE? CAN I INTEREST YOU IN 800 HOURS OF EXPERIENCE? HAHAHAHAHAA I'VE BEATEN THIS GAME WITH EVERY CLASS, AND INBETWEEN I NEED THERAPY!
