Neither if I'm being totally honest.....I've lost one year of my life that I'll never get back moving to Edmonton post-grad and anybody with HALF a brain would never spend $2million dollars on that house in Vancouver.
As an Edmontonian, you can either live in an average yet beautiful place thats very expensive, or live in a sketchy area for still too much rent or mortgage, but as long as you don’t live on the north side, it’s not too sketchy! (Avoid whyte ave and public transit if you want to live)
Maybe not vancouver, to rushy. Maybe vancouver Island? ..with Edmonton prices...you've got Ocean, and mountains, its unbelievably beautiful! I'm actually wanting to leave Edmonton, born and raised..but I can't figure out where to go..
I went to visit there / it’s a very small Town . The locals told me that they have terrible snowstorms that cover all the streets and often you can get stuck at work ! This place is not for the weak of you like sunny bc . And not too many jobs are available either
The weather Man! You have to love winter to live in Edmonton. The main reason Vancouver is so expensive is because of the milder climate. Some people don't mind the winter I guess.
Have you ever lived in Edmonton?? I grew in Alberta....ok.... moderately...in the summer... Absolutely horrible 6 months a year... I have seen - 4 , snow, REAL snow...in August.....( Calgary) Seen -50 in Edmonton....ya...
He's comparing a home in one of Vancouver's most expensive neighbourhoods. Also, you don't have to live in the US, that is worth a few million right there.
This man is comparing a Luxurious province like b.c. to a frozen province like alberta. This is like comparing a beach to a garbage bin. sure the garbage bin is cheaper but is it better? Cheaper the area the shittier the people that are in it, more crime etc.
